Thats a serious contradiction, considering Ryu has lost a few bouts. all that means is that Ryu doesn't job to newbies, if Alex had beaten Ryu,that would have screwed everything right over sideways.

i know...i wouldn't want Ryu to lose to Alex either. however people are saying that Terry steals other people's thunder......which makes me inclined to point out how he never beat Rock perfect, stole Kyo's lightning or defamed K' but beating them perfect either.

Because you've always pointed out the fact that Ryu haslost matches, making him therefore weaker when compared to Terry.

And the Terry arguments I think arepointed at the FF series, not MOTW or KOF.

i didn't even say ryu is weak cuz he lost. i pointed out that while terry hasn't even lost to gotiers, ryu has been beaten by people weaker than him. i have no problem with ryu losing to godtiers but it gets a little lame if he loses to someone weaker, don't it?

and i am only pointing out his victory over Alex is to show that if anyone ever stole thunder from people it was Ryu. Terry isn't the hero of everygame nor is he troucning new heroes left and right.

No itdoesn't,it shows Ryu has weaknesses, it shows that he can still emotionally suffer, it shows that he is, in fact HUMAN and can make mistakes justlike anyone else. Notquite the stale always Pwning hero thats so common in every game andmovie andcomic and tv showout there...

I actually like Terry more than Ryu there for some reason. The facts behind it is because they both travel and all but Terry is more in up to date there as well. I also like his move, Power Geyser!

Ash isnt the new hero.kyo is the new hero again. that is why Kyo won KoF2003 tournametn and most likely won the KoFXI as well.
also Ash hasn't beaten Kyo yet.
