As for SF2...from what it says it sounds like it was an unresolved conflict. The very most, Ryu winning by "technicality" (without actually fighting) but then again whomever the player was at the time would have to face Gouki. Whether THAT match was a win or not was non-canon, so still cloudy.
Offtopic, but I found this on YouTube and couldn't resist. This is what all Akuma fans wish for, a stupidly powerful playable Akuma. You think the normal S.Akuma from CvS2 was broken because he was too cheap?

Nah. I'm like most people who dislike redundancy in storylines. A hero who always wins is boring. It's that simple. This is not rocket science. This unknown guy Ken fought was obviously quite talented. In SF land everybody can rumble. Not just the heroes. Already told that to Sado. Recycling?
Ken fighting a talented opponent is only a speculation. if he's that strong then capcom need send him SF tournament and show his face to everyone. if you want a real homage, you can see Benimaru Nikaido. his special moves used Hurricane Polymar's special moves name such as shinkuu kakategoma, gen'ei hurricane, etc. but Bison and Washizaki looks similar in the term of appearances, ambition.
Nope. Sadly, all of this has been done b4. Design TEAMS. As in multiple cats. Any of them could have created Ryu. Another of them could have created ripoff. Me, Sadp, Olympian & Classic NES all went over this shit years ago. Oly couldn't find any actual proof so he threw a tantrum & eventually left. Find something w/somebody taking the credit for creating Ryu & work from there. This isn't a fail yet. Not a success either. What does that Fuuma stuff mean?

its actually good that brain revived this thread. cuz of him i got to look at old as shite battle flyers, official prologues and even re-read some of the faqs. not only did that clear out lots of things but also made Geese look better. he loses to Terry in FF1, then regains all his power to get back at Terry in FFRB where he pushes Terry long and hard enough for Terry to do the triple geyser on him...and even that didn't kill him, he only lost his balance and fell off the building, was way too badass to allow terry to save him....and actually laughed at him all the way to his death. THAT is badass.

Geese>Bison. not only did he make the number1 fighter of South Town look like shit (official prologues officially stated Jeff as South Town's strongest fighter), but actually pushed the hero to his limits both times, never chickened out from anyone and always clobbered anyone who was a tier below him. Bison never beat anyone worth mentioning, lost most of his fights, got oneshotted by the hero without magic steriods, and his grand comeback was him dying without even a fight.
Krauser>Bison. not only did Krauser push terry to his limits but he managed to do so while not actively training. on top of that he took on midtiers and lowtiers of his series in handicap matches and crushed them all easily. he did what baddies do: he beat the weak ones and looked cool. and his great comeback was actually beating Terry. Bison got oneshotted by ryu and ran away from lowtiers and losers. heck, he even lost to Rose one-on-one and nearly died...and his great comeback was a horrible failure and even more pathetic than his origin.
oh yeah. not only do they push the heros to his limit but also crush lowtiers and midtiers, walk around looking cool and don't pussyout to anyone....at least not lowtiers. and they don't let the hero win either 😐 and when they plan a comeback they atleast manage to look good without embarrassing themselves.
