darkseid knocked supes to the ground in just 2 hits in 'Our Worlds at War'

it's rediculous to just say supes win despite the fact darseid has owned him for an overwhelming majority of the time.

seriously, if it's just superman and darkseid, with no plot devices and using only their raw power, darkseid wins 10/10.

need proof? compare the feats of superman and darkseid. it's not even a question.

he would have killed superman if he kept on fighting, but instead he stopped in order to tell him about the aegis armor. ya, he broke darkseids hold, but he wasn't affected by the heat vision at all.

Have you read all of OWAW? Later they fought each other to a stalemate. Darkseid wasn't about to kill Superman by any means.

One has to wonder Why DS doesn't turn Superman's Suit into Kryptonite. Or Summon 2 brimstones to beat the crap out of Superman. Or why he doesn't mind rape him. Turn him into a child. How come DS doesn't just teleport Superman into a red sun? Superman has never been resistant to The OB's teleporting him somewhere. DS fights Superman like an idiot writer is behind the helm.

i read all of it and i know they fought to a stalemate. they had to. darkseid couldn't defeat supes because it would ruin the plot. if darkseid had killed superman, then he wouldn't have been able to save the universe.
