Apparently, according to you, he is 'dumb', because he DOESN'T fight the way you WISH he would. Just like Superman doesn't, just like Thor doesn't, just like Surfer, GL's, etc. NO major characters fight as well as they could, it is in their character and personality to fight they way they do consistently.

EITHER WAY, that was an exceptionally WEAK incarnation of Fate, so it is not anywhere near as impressive as you wish it was.

Where the hell did I say Darkseid is dumb? Are you illterate? The ONLY time, Superman was shown to be physically equal to Darkseid, was in Action comics, Superman/Batman, and Apokolips now. Physical strength should mean jackshit, when your opponent, is much more versatile, than you. Superman is a class 100+, and Odin's a class 75, but does Superman's superior strength, give him an advantage?

Keep on preaching to us "Darkseid fanboys", but your not proving shit. Ds shouldn't have to engage Superman in physical combat, because Seid is far more powerful overall than him. Hell Lobo hurt his f#cking hands punching Ds, and he's beaten Superman before. Even in Brynes story, a avatar was able to put up a fight against Superman, and don't tell me thats a lie, because that fight was retconned into a avatar.

The problem with you is, you take a few bad showings, and try to overshadow them, with the character's overrall performance. That's not how this forum works, we debate over powersets, not portayals. And please answer my question about Stayne. Btw, the fact that Desaad was able to push the limits of Dr.Fate and Mrs.Fate, Is impressive, cause you know, Desaad<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Darkseid.

Maybe I'm confusing the difinitions, I always thought a character's portrayal, is how he/she uses his/her powers in the comics. In that case, I guess I was wrong 😛
