Proof is a tricky thing in this case. I don't think you're a homophobe, but you do use your religous preferences to justify being a bigot. The proof for the causes of homosexuality are debatable. Your opinions of homosexuals, belittling as they are, is not. All one has to do is look at your post history on the subject. That would be proof enough in a case such as this.

Yep, the subject may be more offensive depending on how the issue has been handled in the 22.3 years. But then again, racisims been around in one form or another for millenia so i guess we've been in the clear for a while.
As for Goodeys comments, they weren't made with any "humor" intent other than to her, she was just trying to be mean more than anything and had nothing more than half baked racisim as ammo.

Things don't need to be said with intent to be humorous in hindsight, even in a "that really is sad", "funny" way. The shows makers are laughing all the way to the bank, trust me on this. The fact they have made many people feel sick and a nation question its identity, doesn't really affect why it's funny, the whole world fell for the ploy and the ratings went up.
