Gone with the Wind, Godfather Part 1, Dark Knight, Casablanca, Star Wars, E.T., Titanic, and 2001 Space Odyssey. Those are legendary films in both sales, opinion from both professionals and amateurs, and production quality. (For their times.)

And how are t2, startrek09, Alien/s, 60's planet/apes not legendary sci-fi fantasy films. They've all set the bar almost unreachably high. They were all definetely ahead of their time. Just like avatar is.

I hated that movie from start to finish, didn't help I was in filled theater with about 80% women who kept gasping.
The stupid ***** sitting to my left kept saying "oh my god, oh my, is she going to make it!?", when Winslet was floating around the water and suddenly couldn't scream for help. How stupid can you ****ing be, as you she Winslet's character alive as a crusty old woman in the beginning of the film.

1: When the guy falls off the back of the ship and smashes off the propeller before spinning into the water.
2: When Jack kicks the proverbial bucket.
3: When Jack's annoying mate gets splattered by the big chimney.
4: When you get a slight peek at Winslet's shapely jug.

Okay, there a few instances when I didn't hate the movie. Also, they did a decent job at the costumes/era specific clothing.

I expect Avatar to be a pretty good movie. Most definitely better than these emo tween movies I have never seen, nor will I ever.
