Democratic Nomination?

So, it's all over at 48 states, but 49 are qualifiable? I'm fine with redoing the vote for both states, as long as ample time is allowed for both candidates to lobby for votes in those states. Can that happen before June?
Maybe, maybe not.

And I wasn't suggesting that 49 was acceptable while 48 is not, I was just correcting you.

Exactly!

Obama wasn't on the ballot in Michigan and he didn't campaign in Florida because he was told they had broken the rules and were a moot issue. All the while, he was competing against more than Mrs Clinton. It's hard to believe that wasting MONEY on a non-election would escape supporters of Mrs. Clinton, when their candidate is walking off stage after her victory speeches and making on-line pleas for money. She's already 12 million in debt to her own campaign, and she can't replace that money through conventional means, unless she wins the nomination.

Actually Clinton didn't campaign there either, seeing as that was part of the rules when they stripped the delegates: no one could campaign in FL or MI.

Seriously, I have a serious question here.

I don't follow politics and don't pretend to do so, but on the news this morning, I saw that McCain was begging for a debate on global warming. Since this always seems to be a touchy subject that seems to get Republicans in a tizzy, does this mean that the topic will go away?

I mean, since McCain's being upfront about it instead of being confronted by the Democrats, will the Dems just not even bother with it since they can't use this subject matter against him?

"I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on," she said in an interview with USA TODAY. As evidence, Clinton cited an Associated Press article "that found how Sen. Obama's support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me."

"There's a pattern emerging here," she said.

I think the Reps might be jumping onto the Global Warming bandwagon, recently watched a commercial where Pelosi & Gingrich were agreeing that something "has to be done".

Mrs. Clinton DID campaigned in Florida. She attended fundraisers and made speeches at rallies. It's one of the reasons Obama's campaign got pissed. But, apparently the rules don't apply to Mrs. Clinton? Supporters carried signs that had a disclaimer regarding affiliation with her campaign, while she was making speeches in front of them.

Only now are both candidates begining to return to Michigan and Florida.

So, is there time for both to campaign in Florida and Michigan before a revote occurs? Before the convention?

She widely wins a single primary in West Virginia and suddenly she think's she's won the general election. Typical.

While I do agree that we need to work on alternative fuels that are more environment friendly, the ratification of the Kyoto Convention is the not the best of choices.

I believe it is Hilary who wants to sign it...😐

Of course she does.

Want to know why I am sure?

Take any issue. Consider the correct, intelligent and reasonable approach. Now think of the exact opposite. In 99% of cases you have Hillary's political stance. Word for word.

Well, that strikes me as a little knee-jerk and unreasonable.

It does, doesn't it?

Clinton rejected any idea that her emphasis on white voters could be interpreted as racially divisive. "These are the people you have to win if you're a Democrat in sufficient numbers to actually win the election. Everybody knows that."

Is it me or does she just seem like a major *****?

Incorrect again. Clinton did not campaign in Florida. She held closed events in Florida, yes, but that's not technically campaigning. She was within the rules. And there were no rallies, that's just plain not true.

While we're on the subject, let's point out that Obama ran ads that reached Florida a few days before its primary.

So in conclusion: Obama campaigned in Florida, Clinton did not.

Yeah, I somehow don't subscribe to the notion that being a ***** is good, just because a comedian is a *****.

Also, reading Hillary's political believes, I really, really, don't want her to get shit done.

Hahahahahahaha. Xenophobic ass.

But really, your opinion only matters so ridiculously little more than mine to your government, that we can really discuss it as pretty much equals.

It's not xenophobia, it's just reality. Why the hell would I have an opinion on German government when I have no ability whatsoever to change it?
