Neg. My point still stands. The European invaders wouldn't have been able to do what they did if African nations weren't already at war with each other. If they stood resolute and actually banded together they could have have sucessfully gotten out from under European Imperialism. India did it.

Funny enough, at my school (I'm a junior in college) my African history class syllabus was divided the same way. I just dropped the class. It looked like bullshit.
I don't really understand what this has to do with my point. I never stated that African's didn't have culture or civilization. My point was that they're infighting (By infighting I mean African nations constantly at war with each other) made it all too easy for more modernized European nations to basically come into the continent and sweep them all aside.

As I mentioned, thinks have improved in some areas, but they haven't changed, there's a long way to go and lots of people who just want things to remain a certain way, so they can limit and exploit others because they hold all the political power, media power and wealth, and don't want any sizable amount of that to change. Read my previous posts, the first two of them and maybe you'll see more of what I was saying.

My father is also doing some research on this and has said the samething. Slavery to Africans was different to Europeans. Africans solds slaves to the Europeans thinking they would have been treated differently. There seems to be a misconception that Africans persecuted their own people on mass. Yes they sold people as slaves to the Europeans but it seems they may have thought that it was under different conditions.
