I guess DC really wanted an answer to Iron Man, they turned Hal into Tony Stark.

Hmmm...well, Hal was a hotshot pilot, so him being a little like a kid with a new toy isn't that much of a stretch. The character needs an arc, so maybe he gets more serious as the danger & stakes increase in the movie.
And the glowing costume works for me.

But could these media morons start calling this Green Lantern; not "The Green Lantern"?
And, it's Coast City, not "Coastal City." This comes from some other news reports.

Why didn't they jus stick with Ryan in a Wally West Flash movie?

I think this is gonna suck such big balls with totally out of character acting and terrible CGI. All that coulda made a good Flash movie thou, he's perfect for Wally and all the effects you really need for Flash is red streaks and some good slow down around you scenes like with matrix or underworld style IMO

Kilowog looks f*cken awesome!! He looks exactly the way, id envision him. I don't care how Ryan looks or the guardians for that matter. The guardians head is too big/freaky for my taste. Anyway, I can't wait for the movie. However, after seing the previews I'm kind of reluctant that it will suck. 🙁

As is, I won't judge the movie until I've seen it. But, as others have noted I would have wanted Ryan Reynolds to be Wally. He has the look, attitute, and personality. I would have made a better Hal Jordan, or better yet Kyle Rayner. 😄

I wonder if this will beat the Thor movie at the box office.

These comedy parts from what we've seen in the sneek preview did'nt they have that in the animated movie if i recall but i suppose done a lil better.

That first flight Hal Jordon was an annoying little shit.

Movie looks like uninteresting shit so far.

Well, he was a bit cocky. Hal is a test pilot; those guys are full of themselves. But this won't be a comedy fest. The one kind of movie Martin Campbell never makes is a comedy.

Having seen the trailer, I can accept Reynolds as Deadpool or even, at a stretch, Wally West's Flash. As Hal Jordan? No. Just, no.

This film looks very disappinting, even now.
