You didn't know where the phrase ''Third Islamic Invasion of Europe'' came from, thus your whole post about cultural invasion, weak ridiculing sarcasm.
All else you wrote, was irrelevant, since you evidently were not aware of the phrase, where it came from, nor what it meant.
Perhaps I could do a summery? Yes, I think I will.
You post an absurdly over the top bit of doom and gloom prediction about the fate of the world as we know it, somewhat connected to the controversial theory of a controversial historian - in a rather certain way, which of course any person with knowledge of political predictions will tell you are never as certain as you were making out.
I, in turn, find it rather amusing in a historical sense, and draw a comparison with another time when people where saying things like that - I choose to do it in a more humerus fashion (failing of course to remember when it comes to this subject you have no humor). I choose not to dwell on the fact you have not expanded on the actual meat of the "Third Invasion of Islam" theory, and present a counter theory that I think, from my studies, has more legs.I never imply I don't know what you are referring to. In fact such theories have existed ever since 9/11, though few of them are as well thought out as the good doctors.
Your response clearly shows your anger that anyone would dare disagree with your balanced, reasoned assessment, and you then try to have a go at insulting my posting style (weakly sarcastic, shit long), me (politically correct bleater) and my intelligence and education (never read a book on the subject, knowledge begins and ends with the forum etc.) You ignorantly claim only the US does any cultural influencing while somehow believing I posted something about how Islamic hordes would attack the US (I still don't know where that came from) and show why you get to say things like "the west will burn under Islam" (because you are doing a study on state based violence and got a chance to email the Prof!!!)
My response in turn (which seems to have killed that thread) reiterates my view - I know of the works of Israeli, got deeper into them and looked into his up coming book when he flew in to Australia and made a number of similar claims. I find some of his ideas interesting, but have doubts about some of his wider predictions (Eurabia amongst them). I then extrapolate somewhat on the counter theory I was presenting about what I see as a more likely direction Western/Islamic interaction could take (based upon my knowledge of political theory on that issue) to do with cultural give and take, and you, as such a big fan of Israeli should have recognised the immigration component - the same component used differently in two different theories.
Gregory was quite correct about how you respond on the issue of Islam -your post here proves it. I, or others, disagree with what you say and of course we know nothing about what you are talking about and as such any opinion we express should be disregarded.
