In Action comics Darkseid says Desaad has been pretending to be him and he has been away. The inference is since the first Crisis although it is not clear. So your claim is bullshit I'm afraid. So the one making assumptions is you, isn't it? ✅ You also have no evidence to refute it being Desaad or a Darkseid clone. You just wish it to be so. Unfortunately that's the thing with comics history it's constantly changing. You just haven't kept up and now you're called on it you get emotional. It's no biggie it just highlights your age "kid".
