Hal is not a abstract compared to Genis(even that version)
btw im wondering who's essence did Hal absrob anyways?
and another thing to add, Captain Mavel Genis wouldent stand a chance against Surfer, according to Rick Jones, who knows Genis best.

Your comparing Genis to Hal, thats the problem.

Genis is way above Hal and Surfer.

NOt in that scan he wasn't. He was a noob back then.

binding - The action of one that binds.

ha·lo - A circular band of colored light around a light source, as around the sun or moon, caused by the refraction and reflection of light by ice particles suspended in the intervening atmosphere.

galaxy - Any of numerous large-scale aggregates of stars, gas, and dust that constitute the universe, containing an average of 100 billion (1011) solar masses and ranging in diameter from 1,500 to 300,000 light-years

sol·vent - Capable of dissolving another substance.

Sounds like to me has has the power to bind together and dissolve the universe. Don't know where you got gravity from?

The above is for Priest.

No. Are we talking about teh one that stalemated Sentry (also, based on your logic, if Genis is way above Hal and Surfer, then Sentry is also way above Thor as well)? Genis is on their level, but not above.

INSANE GENIS is above them though...

I don't even know why people are bickering back and fourth.

Which heroes can you think of, that are flatout more powerful than classic Surfer?

No special versions please, like Ion or Parallax or Superman Prime.

I'll call Dr. Fate and Dr.Strange, just to force the mind to work...

It is supposed to be people, that, without question are above Surfer.
Not Hal, Kyle, or Thor.

not going above thanos level beings, im pretty sure that there arent that much characters that are >> surfer...

thor, warlock, strange, and genis are surely capable of beating him but it doesnt necessarily connotate that they are >> surfer...

in the same sense that surfer is definitely capable of beating the above mentioned...

Genis at that point was way above Thor/Surfer/and Hal. he had the power to destroy the universe, something none of the characters above can do.

Photon was way more powerful than Insane Genis.

There aren't many characters, below Thanos lv that are far above Surfer.

u know i had to go to ur fallen one thread to get that statment. 😱

Ya, I know.

You said GENIS though...

It doesn't have to be Thanos level. It can be above, it can below.
Just think of heroes, that are more powerful than Surfer.

Well during and after the Insane period is what I was referring to.

actually, in this context, solvent means "the substance that makes up the largest portion of a solution". in current theoretical cosmology, black matter/black energy accounts for the vast majority of mass in the universe.

so all that's really saying is he controls most of the universal energy. surfer controls ALL of the universal energy (power cosmic being the big bang)

sol·vent (sŏl'vənt, sôl'-) pronunciation
adj.

1. Capable of meeting financial obligations.
2. Chemistry. Capable of dissolving another substance.

n.

1. Chemistry.
1. A substance in which another substance is dissolved, forming a solution.
2. A substance, usually a liquid, capable of dissolving another substance.
2. Something that solves or explains.

By dictionary terms, Solvent never means what you implied,

apparently we're using a different dictionary. it's the only definition that really fits. otherwise, they'd be saying that black matter is the power by which galaxies can dissolve another substance (bonk).

think back to freshman chemistry, it can indeed mean what i "implied".

Or it could just mean that Black matter is the binding energy from which galaxies/the universe are dissolved.

Makes much more sense than either of your theory's.

no it doesn't, considering "binding" and "dissolving" are opposing actions. also consider that black matter actually exists in modern theoritical cosmology and it is considered to make up most of the universe. then consider that i got my definition out of a dictionary.

then relax and accept that fallen one is a lame chracter.

First it was gravity, and now it's something else. Just admit you don't know, and hush. Black matter is the binding energy from which galaxies/the universe are dissolved. Binding meaning it holds it together solvent meaning it can dissolve it.

What dictionary is your term from?

Fallen One's potential as a character >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sentry

Honestly i cant see galactus other than full, being able to dissolve universes. I assume that galactus did give the FO his power.
Galactus > Fallen One, so the fallen one can possibly have that kind of power.

i suppose. all we have is frankenstein-ish origin and about a line's worth of dialogue.

american heritage student's dictionary. students are people who study chemistry (amongst other things).

and i never said that it was gravity, just that it sounded like gravity. are you english deficient? it would make so little sense if the line read: the binding halo by which galaxies are made (able to dissolve another substance). moreover, you gave the definition 2. Something that solves or explains. in theoretical cosmology, black matter/black energy explains why galaxies form the shapes they do.

you're fighting this strangely hard.
