Dark Phoenix vs. Imperiex

This is not a spite thread or anything. I am seriously wondering, after finishing Our Worlds At War, whether Imperiex would be able to take on any incarnation of the phoenix force (Jean, Rachel, etc.).

This is because, in Our Worlds at War, when Imperiex's energy was released, he unleased a big bang (the book specifically said that there were two big bangs that occured almost simultaneously) at the beginning of time. Since the Phoenix Force is believed to power the big bang also, I was wondering what would happen if the two faced each other. Thank you.

IS PF actually the power of a big bang? Imperiex actually is the power of a big bang. ANd not only just one, but he does it over and over. I'd go with Imperiex over every version of PF except the White crown PF. I dont' know alot about her.

From what I understand of the Phoenix, I think she is the spark that starts up the big bang. I don't know if that is the same thing as being the power of the big bang though. hmmm.... that's why I started this thread lol.

The PF has never on panel destroyed or created a universe or anything greater.

I go by on panel showings, not speculation.
