The Phoenix is the force that sparks the cycle, the force that perpetuates the cycle and is the force that ends the cycle as the universe is consumed by the fire from the initial spark.

I fail to see why everything the Phoenix does is up for interpretation, when a lot of her feats are shown there is nothing more than what is done and what she says she is doing. Like when she "held the universe" it just showed her holding it, and the consciousness talking to Jean about what was being held. There were no captions or anything just Jean as WPoftheC holding the universe, talking to her higher-self. This was just the thread I was reading when I decided to post, call me a fanboy if you like, Phoenix is more underrated in our reality than hers.

Your point is irrelevant because not only has Phoenix beat him in an alternate reality when she was also weak, but in the Excalibur fight yes Galactus was weak, but he also highlighted the superiority of Phoenixes nature to his, because while an avatar is tapped into a limitless supply of energy and can fight persistently, Galactus requires outside sustenance. He'd eat a planet, battle, burn those reserves and then be weak again.
