The one consistent problem that's been bothering me is the mission restart.
If I have to drive all the way across the damn city to get to a race, and I lose that race by half a second, I have to restart, drive alllll the way across the city again, just so I can give the race another go. So frustrating... And it's not only with races, either.
If you have to restart a mission, they should start you at the beginning of the actual mission, not 50 blocks away from the mission start.

Yeah I have to agree about that, I've stopped using the replay option, I much rather just load last save (unless I have unsaved progress) and don't get an evil Failed Mission on my stats.
Also, my beloved race car I got from Brucies first race has been stolen crybaby
I had it when I parked outside my safe house (in the "garage"😉, went to sleep (save), next time I loaded the game, it was gone. Anyone know where I can get it back (it=similar car)? I heard that you might find it if you ask Brucie for a race.
My god how much I loathe the Deathmatches in GTA IV.
Either there was a lot of cheating, or the game is just extremely buggy.
Me emptying whole mags of the AK-47 lookalike into someones head and they don't. I have a body armour and full HP, and get oneshotted by a pistol. Rinse and repeat for 15 min and you get a pretty pissed player.

Comets seem extremely rare, in my game there was always one parked next door to Faustin's house.

I just encountered a really wierd glitch, which was really cool to watch. I had come out of my safehouse, and saw someone on a sanchez drive past, so i chased after them, they started to get quite a lead on me, so i locked on with my pistol, shot one bullet into their back, and then they flew up 40 feet into the aim, before slamming down on the floor and dying (as they had money around them). It was pretty cool to watch, though I haven't been able to replicate it again.

That happened to me. I was soo hyped. 😆 The dude landed on top of a building for me.
Any of you had this thing happen while walking near Roman's taxi building. Some random guy just gave me $100 just for talking to him.

Yes that was the first Random Encounter I experienced as well, keep an eye out for a blue man icon on the minimap from now on,they represent one of these Random Encounters that pop up, they can be as easy as getting money like that, or followed by a big gunfight and police chase, pretty funny.
Also, the camera focuses on them when you drive past them, so any involuntary camera motion might mean a Random person.
I beat the game, through some well timed saves I actually beat it twice for both endings. 😛
I will say I was expecting more from the story in the later part of the game, and the ending, but the story throughout the game was very good. I really hope the DLC expands Niko's story, in a real way, not just random missions.

For him that is actuall very positive. I do agree about the realistic graphics, its the same problem I had with Gears when everyone said the graphics were so amazing, it was all one color. GTA is not that bad, but not as colorful as previous games.
