The whole GTA affecting Iron Man is kinda bullshit to me. I was about as obsessed with GTA coming out as anyone, but I still took time Sunday to see Iron Man. And Im thinking of going again this weekend. 😛

From that article:

The Chicago Transit Authority is being sued by Take Two over pulled GTA IV ads.

This makes me sad I don't go downtown more often, because I haven't seen any GTA ads! And I'm always on the CTA when I go downtown.

I got GTA and went to see Iron Man and i found them both an enjoyable experience.

I didn't go see Iron Man but that's because I never see a movie when it's in the theater, I don't want to pay $10 for something I more likely than not will not like 😛

I think Iron Man could have made more money than the original Spiderman. I'm sure GTA had some impact on it.

It deserved to, Iron Man blows Spiderman away. 😛

I was playing Cops and Crooks, and I was the Boss, the target of all the Police.

I jump into a car, a nice dude jumps in together with me to protect me, we drive along, he takes out a police car like a pro, and we continue to drive on. We get to the big roundabout with the gate in the middle (on the starting island), and I ofc thinks to just run straight through the opening. However I mess up the angle, and hit one of the poles. I myself stayed in the car, but my friend, crashed through the windshield and flew all the way down the slope (we were going south), which is at least 200 meters. He miraculously survived, I picked him up again, and we ran off to the boat and won.

Seeing him fly was definitely one of the funniest momements so far in GTA.

Ooooh I absolutely love the Helitours.

Just took one now, and my god, when you are at one of the highest points and can see the entire game, all the three islands, first then do you realize how amazingly big this game is, and talk about the details.

well it's not really that amazing when you think that a cinema tickets costs 5 bucks and a game costs 40 (in £)...

im trying to get the 'under the radar' achievement. flew the damn chopper under EVERY bridge. i even flew it under the tiny bridge in central park. wasnt too pissed since i got the 'one man army' achievement. apparently the cops get really really really pissed when you go to an island that is still locked *shrug*

anyway, do you have to unlock every island before you get that achievement?

This game has some of the best achievements i have ever seen in a 360 game.

to be fair i did state in £ which is more or less $10

my point is though they're not really equatable in terms of numbers of people who buy the game/see the film

i'm sure DVD sales will bump up the figures for blockbuster films as well

This was so freaking annoying, was playing my first online ranked GTA Race, I'm leading 4/5 rounds, get in a struggle for the first place at the end, I shoot rounds after rounds of bullets on my enemy. His tires are all sparkling, we get to a corner just before the finish line, and then, screen goes black "Please reconnect your controller", soo pissed, still got on second, but I was soo darned close.

Battery die? 😂
