So are there Kill Frenzy's and all that kinda stuff, or did they do away with most of the mini game type stuff?

Most of that stuff is gone. Your friends will give you seperate off story missions like cab missions and stuff though, and there is the vigilante missions with the police database.

Anyhow, I just hate these silly missions that more or less require you to know where to go. I'm doing a mission for Mally (or whatever, the delusional black dude trying to clean the streets), where I have to follow a darned train. But if you miss as much as one turn, you have no time at all to back up that 2 inches you need to make the turn before it goes away, you kinda have to know it will turn here and there.

God I hate Manny. 🙄

it's a train...you dont have to know where it turns...it's on a track

I know that, but the tracks branches so many darned places, and even at one particular place you barely see the way it can branch off at, it was so small and hidden...hiding up there spanning hundreds of meters...
