What was he hallucinating?

According to Handbooks, Apocalypse can levitate himself telekinetically.

Ah. So he was just levitating telekinetically in that part of the scan you posted? That would explain it then... so thanks, I guess.

I suppose that was the first time he used (or when he first discovered) his mutant ability to levitate as well, since he didn't seem to know what he was doing there 😛 (he thought it was a hallucination at first, apparently). Anyhow...

he don't use that power frequently

Yeah. I knew he could teleport (if that's what you meant) and fly.

He mastered it later, and could levitate others as well.

Ah yes. I remember that. Sweetness!

Heh. Then again, he can do practically anything to Ozymandias with his powers. 😛

Yep, though I don't think it was Apocalypse himself (or his powers) that actually did that to Ozymandias, but the 'Eye of Ages' device he was holding.

I could be wrong though, so sorry if I am.

It's from the Rise of Apocalypse series (posted from pages 2 to 3 in this thread).

On marvel.com, Apocalypse is officially listed as being stronger than the Hulk. I think in a pure physical fight (no energy, TK, magnetic powers), few, if none, can out muscle Apocalypse. The only thing Cable, Nate Grey, and Magneto have are their energy powers. Physically, they're no stronger than an average human.

I don't even think Gladiator can out muscle Apocalypse. Now that would be an awesome fight. We were teased in the 90's cartoon series (Beyond Good and Evil), and never got to see an actual fight between Gladiator and Apoc...

Ignore the Marvel ratings.

They have the official and fan ratings on the site... why ignore the official one??

I remember, several years ago, that the three strongest listed on the website, was Galactus, Onslaught, and Apocalypse. I wonder why they removed the old rating system, the new one isn't as detailed.

Well, that part I know is true. ^^^ Don't know about the rest of what you said was mentioned on marvel's website though...

Yeah. Now that would've been tight, but instead, all Gladiator did was threaten Apocalypse, which then Apoc left after capturing Oracle. 🙁

Hmm. Ya got me...

Not surprising though that Apocalypse used to be among the 3 strongest listed (as he's easily one of the most powerful characters from Marvel), but then there's the Celestials (who forged Apoc's armor), so I guess the old rating system you referred to wasn't really that accurate...

Apocalypse has super-breath. Take that Superman! 😛

Heh. Seems even Apocalypse can get annoyed by how taunting Dracula can be.

Yep, just look at marvel offical rating of Wolverine, he is no less than Apocalypse.

*checks*

Yep. Guess that gives me a good enough reason to not pay any attention to the 'official' ratings there either...

would somebody be so kind to explain this?

the first thing that comes into my mind is "they wanted to finish it quickly and without sequels"

What about that do you need explained exactly?

After secretly magnetically charging his body during the fight, a weakened Magneto cracked Apocalypse with electro-magnetic energy, thus ripping him in half.

It's from the Age of Apocalypse (AoA) though, which is non-canon.

Eh, does that explain things well enough there for ya?

Indeed so...

Yeah. You pretty much got the right interpretation there. 😬 AoA wasn't that good anyhow.
