Because this is the Apoc respect thread, and Apoc fans will never forgive Marvel for what Magneto did to Apoc at the end of AoA. If it was Nate Grey or both teaming up to finish him, it would have been more forgivable. But hey, if Obi-wan Kenobi can beat the 'CHOSEN ONE', then anything can happen to even the most powerful of characters on a bad day.

I know... it's look more like a distinct tattoo or something, than something more general like skin color or blue hair. Almost like how Cable/Nate Grey/Stryfe all have that distinct eye.

Palpable indeed. I wouldn't necessarily call it "hate" though. Hate's too strong a word in this case.

Apocalypse is a clearly more powerful being than Magneto. But Magneto is the most popular X-villain and among most popular villain in Marvel, that is why how it is.
Generally, he was always better written than Apocalypse about using their powers.
When Apocalypse appears and uses his powers, we are always, I mean he could do so much more, they use like maybe 10% of his powers and even those powers he uses, are far from the full extent.
His full extenet of powers are pretty much unknown.

I don't agree Shadow King being more powerful than Magneto though.

The grey/metallic appearance of his Celestial armor just looks much more awesome that way. 👆 So does the blue eyes (in that pic at least).
