True. We actually expected, of course, PF to win and actually knew she can do it easily.
It only that it seems that final battle won't even get interesting. I would at least like Apocalypse to do something, because he has said that we have only seen the shadow of his abilities, maybe we will and I would at least like to see his full powers against PF and that they would look devastating.

But yeah. He may seem down for now, but I wouldn't count him out quite yet.
Even though PF has a very high chance of winning as expected from the beginning, I honestly don't know what to expect anymore. >.>
OK, where is the rest of it??? That can't be it!! All this hype and buildup for a year, and all we get is him melting?? Well, it's the same 7 pages Marvel has on its website, so hopefully, there's way more to it!!!
Wow!! Well, if that is pretty much it... then at least they can give us a Dark Phoenix story and what not??
What if Apoc, somehow transfers his essence into Jean Grey, without anyone (including Phoenix) knowing, and maybe not today, a month, or a year later, he asserts control over her and wreaks universal havoc??
