The Apocalypse Respect Thread

Nice! Can't wait to see more of the backstory. Really liked the X-Factor fight as well. Felt nostalgic seeing it.

We need to see him again against some powerhouse as Stryfe was. We have to see Apocalypse at his best. Although he could easily dispatch X-Factor here.

Good god! The X-men attacks were just bouncing off him, like nothing.. then he sprouts wings like Archangel.. FREAKIN AWESOME!! The writing for Apoc appears to be a whole lot better!

I found Apocalypse having wings to be a random WTF kind of thing. Not like he would need them to fly when he can levitate himself and stuff. Regardless, it was pretty cool looking I guess.

Part 4 of Apocalypse's backstory.

Could some body tell me why the **** Wolverine is being compared to Xavier and Magento? Cockstroke or what.

Huh... Probably so, but it's just a small little detail at most compared to everything else of Apocalypse's backstory, so I'm not complainin' that much.

Apocalypse weakling once more. Couldn't defeat Mr. Sinister.

And Sinister couldn't beat Apocalypse.

Still don't like though how Louise Simonson wrote Poccy and Sinister as being equally powerful or somethin' when Apocalypse was shown to be clearly much more powerful than Essex in like every other encounter they've had against each other.

Ah well. At least it didn't make Poccy's backstory any less interesting for me.

You know it sounds far worse ''Apocalypse couldn't beat Sinister''. I mean Sinister himself said, if there would come to encounter between them, Apocalypse would put him out of existence and then ran away like a scared child.

Apocalypse was always considered a lot more powerful. Apocalypse that beat Stryfe would make a joke out of Sinister and then stalemate here.

Fans expect something from Apocalypse, big power (especially what he did to Stryfe), and then stalemate against f*ucking Essex.

Yup. He's going to fight Thor in that issue I think.

Finally to see Apocalypse vs. someone like Thor. When does the issue come out? I hope Apocalypse comes strong like he did against Stryfe.
