I actually think it showed up in an earlier Countdown issue as well...they keep freaking teasing me enough with a possible WS tie-in that I can't help but stay tuned in.

Isn't the Monarch's army being gathered in the Bleed?

That's what I remember it from. Thanks for jogging my memory.

No problem. 😄

In the History of the Multiverse section of #39 the Monitors describe the Source Wall as surrounding each of the universes and Anti-Life filling in the space between the walls of each universe. I was wondering if that was a new idea or if that's what it's always been.

I mean, hell, crappy Flash villians talking with the penguin for 3 pages?

Worst idea ever. 😐

The really bad idea is the fan voting.

Yes that is a new really anoying idea. The Source wall was originally a boundary to an aspect of God. Anti Life was basically the removal of free will.

I like how one of the Monitors alludes to The Bleed (and Wildstorm) in the "History..." section, but they don't actually name it. I think that's where Donna and Bats Jr. are headed next....or was it just Kyle that's vacationing in Wildstorm? The other versions mentioned were cool too....kinda brings the whole DC multiverse into perspective.

Anyway, I can't really see how these stories congeal into a freaking Crisis. I mean, hell, crappy Flash villians talking with the penguin for 3 pages? Needless-filler much?

Its really crap though how Warren Eilis's structure of the Multivere (Explained in Planetary) has been completely and utterly removed from continuity. A real shame if you ask me, as Plane tray was a billion times better than any of this crap. I wish D.C. would just keep the Wildstorm and D.C. universes as separate entity's.

i've heard they are just going to have the fights play out in the kmc vrs forum to decide the outcomes instead.

if they did, and listened to the right people, then that'd be one damn fine comic...

Pre Crisis level dickery is back!

Looks like Luthor. Wow, that is dickish. 😆

If they actually listened to the intelligent posters on KMC, I could see this arena working out well. 😉

I dunno though. In the "History..." section of the Countdown, it's vague enough to accomodate it. The Wildstorm universe is only mentioned in passing, as is the Bleed, and it talks about being a gateway to an entirely different section of multiverse. So I think the Wildstorm multiversal continuity is safe.

lex deserves anything he gets that involves a painful death... 😛
