If they actually listened to the intelligent posters on KMC, I could see this arena working out well. 😉

So not you? ermm

I dunno though. In the "History..." section of the Countdown, it's vague enough to accomodate it. The Wildstorm universe is only mentioned in passing, as is the Bleed, and it talks about being a gateway to an entirely different section of multiverse. So I think the Wildstorm multiversal continuity is safe.

Except that the Wildstorm multiverse looks like a snow flake, and has many universes as there are atoms on earth (which is probably more than 52). IMO, Morisson wanted to direct metaphorical middle finger at his fellow brit, for signing an exclusive Marvel contract.

After seeing Grayven die... I started wondering who would benefit from their deaths...I'm starting to think that it might be Anti-Monitor who's trying to kill the new Gods.

and who killed Grayven?

oh ir was in the Ousiders Thunder/MM issue...apparently someone is trying to kill the New Gods all of them. So Grayven tries to hide under earth... but eventually he zeta beams back to Apokolips to take DS's throne to take over...He see's someone behind him and says that your not Darkseid... and gets a whole blasted in him....i have to wonder who would want to kill the new gods... and AM seems like a perfect suspect..or one of the monitors now that i think about it...

You know what was awesome?

Booster Gold #1

Johns is writing it, and it's >> Countdown in just one issue imo. Also, with everything that he and Rip Hunter are doing, he's going to end up playing a huge role in the Crisis. He also wants to

Spoiler:
go back in time to save Ted Kord
so it could be some massive retcons and such.

I almost feel like it deserves its own thread, but I figured I'd mention it here first.

...

And is it me, or does the art in Countdown seem a little...off? Superman in the last panel of the most recent issue seemed weird looking, even though he was supposed to look surprised and all.

I've always liked Booster Gold, I was glad to see him getting some time to shine in 52, now he's got his own series and well..

It kicks ass, the first issue was pretty well written and the art was good too.

Any book that takes the piss out of Superboy Prime is definetly worth picking up IMO 👆.

Yeah, the Booster Gold series looks to kick ass. One of the reviews I saw said it read like 52 #53 and thats exactly right.

I really do hope they save Ted.

Rip Hunter had a great line about SBP. It was something to the effect of, "There's been many different fluctuations to the timestream, many of which I still find RIDICULOUS to believe. Punching history?! Please."

Except that Graven was working for Sinestro ! I do though believe that its either the Anti Monitor or Seven Soldiers Darkside that is killing the new Gods. 🙂

Seriously I think like with the JLU episode Booster Gold's life is now officially The Greatest Story Never Told.

It was weird. I blame the art ✅

Holy crap why was I not informed about the awesomeness of the latest issue? The last page just made me care a lot more about this series.
