It's obviously an image from the next DC/Marvel crossover in which Abomination, who has just given an Omac a handjob and didn't get paid, decides to take out his frustration on Darkseids giant model of Metropolis.

Darkseid, as you can see, was not pleased.

So is that the cover for Countdown #2 or art from the comic?

I'd guess it's the cover just because it has Kubert's name next to Darkseid's waist.

Alternate cover maybe?

Just to note it's revealed Desaad is behind Salvation Run, it's unknown if DS knows about it but most likely as all this is to make new and improved Parademons.

Godzilla versus the giant grey guy !

Yep, Apokalips has been behind pretty much every recent mini. And the New Gods have even stuck their fingers into most of the ongoings at one point or another in the last year or so.

Well they showed their shadows in Salvation Run #1, but I thought the big guy was Darkseid turns out it was a servent of Desaad, but I would be suprized if DS doesn't have anything to do with this.

All I want is to see Joker and Luthor going at each others throats in the final issue.

There was some nice interaction between them in the latest issue.

Whoa!

Is anyone else astonished?

Something actually happened this week.

Has it been established where the Morticoccus virus came from? I forget if they've explained it or not.

Yeah. And Death of the New Gods #7 came out and sh*t went down too. It was a surprisingly busy week.

The Ray Palmer of Earth-51 or 52 (I think) first discovered his own blood had the "perfect" quality to it, that led him to extrapolate that an antithesis of his blood existed (Morticoccus). It's buried back in about Week 20-something in Countdown.

Thanks. I remembered Ray talking about it a little ways back, but I couldn't remember if it was explained how KK got it and what not. I'll have to go back and reread some stuff.

It's when Donna/Jason/Kyle first find Ray.

As for KK, I don't think it's ever explained how he got it in the first place.

Here's the background on it again in case anyone else is curious and/or forgot (like me).
