Orion destroys Darkseid....again?

Yep, DS beats Jimmy pretty easy Orion appears...no explanation and kills Darkseid.

Now...ummm...how does this fit in Death of the New Gods though?

What in the world is going on? I hope the give some sort of explanation and tie this in with the death of the new gods.

Countdown seems all over the place.

Guess that means Orion will take his father's title.

There was no explanation or anything, so maybe Death of the New Gods will give more insight then

Ill read this issue tomorrow in full but it sounds so jacked. As long as the explanation is good Im sure it will be fine and dandy. But if they choose to ignore death of the new gods and just try to seell it that way it will be horrible.

Was it a good fight? I am glad if anyone killed him it was Orion as thats how Jack Kirby wanted it to go down. Even if its only for a few weeks.Lol.

Yeah it was pretty good, lots of explosions...which was pleasing to the eyes.

I turn 29. I just read the fight posted by guy. Looks like a very fitting way to kill Ds. It was a very respectable battle.

I liked how Orion called the heroes off.

Finally I give Orion a lot of respect in this issue. He was so determined and wasnt swayed by Ds's words at all. This was truly a great battle and I liked when he kano'd his heart.

When Ds does come back I hope he looks the same although I highly doubt it.

ok, I read the issue just now. I'm not really upset about Orion killing Darkseid, it's been a long time coming. However.......what about the last issue of DOTNG?

To me, this smells like DOTNG is going to get ignored for FC. Either that or Countdown screwed up again.

Edit: Co-sign with Quan. Orion looked uber badass and it was a good death, even if the fight was too short and the timing odd.
