Thanos was never anywhere near Darkseid. It'd good that the fact that an emo edgelord fantasy was humbled by his far superior counterpart that he is a laughable imitation of.

As I said this site and its opinion is wrong. What truly matters to shape public influence is the films. Thanos wins based off the evidence. More accomplished, better feats, a far more respectable legacy. Darkseid is just some throwaway name in a failed JL.

Some people probably liked the fight because it was good and the average peeps knows nothing about Thanos and Darkseid aside from what they see on TV.

there are like 900 posts complain about deathbattle after this fight here, yet I've yet to see one marvel fan make an argument on why thanos would win and why deathbattle was wrong

not saying I think darkseid beat thanos with IG (I don't), but it does sound like an awful lot whining coming from the thanos camp

So you're saying an avatar of Darkseid can hang with Thanos that is in possession of the gauntlet?

So what? Evidence matters in a debate but public opinion and exposure dictates the narrative.

Superior durability, strength, fighting acumen and too level headed for someone with the weak jaw Darkseid has been known to have. Points to hunter prey and apokilips now to ram my points home.

He didn't beat the gauntlet here, either. Thanos didn't even use it, until late fight, and it was inactive against True Darkseid.

I say the ALE can dominate an IG user, though. Thanos took Starfox's voice for a reason (And Starfox dominated the f'n Pre Retcon Beyonder! If he can do that, the ALE sure can.)

The only time Thor “hung” with Thanos is when he depowered himself to put on a show for death as stated in the comics. Hell regular Thor barely hangs with Thanos

He did read the story, he turned off all sensory input from the IG. When the fight finishes he says the actual words “willing his self back to FUL POWER”

So if you’re not at full Power you are depowered it’s pretty simple to understand.

You’ve even used the argument yourself Thanos put on a show for death.

Your post doesn't make sense. Thanos took on multiple Abstracts at the same time and was brushing off their attacks as if it was nothing. I'm going to ask again, should a Darkseid avatar give Thanos a run for his money who is in possession of the gauntlet?

That only means he only got back his sensory input.

Thanos used time portals, transmutation and the powers he never had which are only attributed to IG.

Heck, he shattered Cap's shield with a back hand. He is hardly that strong in natural state.
