USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 THIRD ASSIGNMENT- 'The Fortress'

Started by Fire66 pages

Ah come on, I was just away on a real life roleplay that took a little longer than expected, can't I get in Ush PLS? You can count out Mirage though seeing as Storm is away for school.

Maybe let me lose two turns or what not, I'll be a good boy from now on!

Well, ok then. I stored your loadout details just in case.

Well then! Here goes.

San goes knifey against an itsy-bitsy. She rolls a handy five successes from the off, and further rolls kill one.

Melkor makes a CC tap, and opnes fire at four foes! He rolls VERY well indeed, blasting through despite their armour and killing two.

Burn has far less trouble. With a high pool and Eagle Eye, he blasts down two directly in the eyes, with little hassle.

Hawk starts to slash around with his swords, and is peeved when they mostly find hard outer shell rather than soft insides.

I asusme Barb means use, not tap. He is equally frustrated, cutting away shell rather than flesh.

Berserker's first knife slash is almost entirely useless; the second stabs right through his foe's forehead. Kill.

Balder- the only cover in here is the pillars and that is irrelevant as no-one is shooting at you. A hefty burst from you downs a foe.

Ares is unhappy to see his attack do very little.

Mors makes a mighty slash, and as he socres his bonus I shall call that a kill.

Helios opens fire, with shotgun bonus... but fails to penetrate the armour!

Dallas also shotguns one, is annoyed when it does not die, shotguns it again. Marduk blows down the last in that area.

Bad guys!

Sentinels already in your zones scuttle across walls, ceilings, pillars, to get all in and around you. Their fallen comrades shriek, flip over, their legs twtiching, and are entirely ignored as the swarm blankets you.

San, Mors and Berserker are attacked to the west. Berserker has no defence. All of you do a good job of staying clear; Berserker is only clipped, but these guys 'clip' damn hard, with their mandibles.

Everyone is attacked out East, and Hawk twice. That is unlucky as he has no defence. East side does not do as well as west and are quickly in trouble, as Hawk get a chunk bitten out of him.

Then the sentinels swarm forwards, and more arrive.

Those in the middle had a scant couple of seconds to think before the swarm closed in. Marduk is taking a few moments to glance around. Dallas yells "Go go go!"

Card- Ace of Clubs

Ares continues blazing away as he puts another pair of Sentinels in his sites, the brass from the bullets jumping past him with each bullet.

Swap BT for EE.

Klez pops off a few shots from his pistols, aiming for the eyes of a Sentinel.

Melis rams her spear forwards into the mandibles of a Throne Middle Sentinel with an almighty thrust!

SS for extra damage.

Heph runs and jump-kicks into a Sentinel's eyes at Throne Middle, cracking its armor with his heel as his foot connects with it.

(Good thing I put in DiM!)

Sirin follows Klez's lead, putting down fire on a Sentinel at Throne Middle with a short burst from her KG-9's.

Mors swings his katana through the legs of another Sentinel near him, then jabs it in the eyes.

San will tap IB at the west throne Sentinel that's at 1, slashing her knives through it and just wanting these things dead as quickly as possible...

I'll use CC (not tapping it) to shoot at those damn spiders, I'll swap ST for DM.

Berserker will attack the next closet Spider. Bringing his knife down at the mouth of one then swinging around bringing the other knife straight up into the bottom of hits head.

Hawk lets out a pained cry as he is bitten and falls back, sheathing one sword before attacking a spider again with SP.

Okay, so the plan for this is very simple. We can't kill all of these things. They're just going to keep coming at us. We have to get out as quickly as possible. So, plan is basically to kill those directly in your way while moving forward. If you have any defensive powers and they're not out, GET them out and use them. If you don't kill the one you're attacking, don't waste time going after it again - just move on. There's just way too many for us to handle and we'll never diminish their numbers.

And if San can move to the columns while attacking, then she will do so.

I'll try to follow Dallas on his way out (I hope he's heading out, but I'll keep following him none the less)

With a mighty roar, Barb charges forward. Dodging attack, he attempts to spear two Sentinels through the heads.

And I can Tap a power three times, Correct? So I will do so. Tapping PM for the attack.

Only a couple of powers are triple taps, and PM with swords isn't one of them.

Ok, turn zero, just attack the two nearest ones. Turn one. I'm going to go all out early in an effort to clear some of these sentinels away with a SS+PM tap fest.

No-one acts on turn zero, of course. You mean turns one and two.

Alright, I did not realise this.

EDIT: no tap.

Fire on the nearest Sentinel and attempt to move forward. Swap SS for ST.
