In the leaked script, and possibly in the book, Davy is very careful to stay in the shallow water. So he's not technically on land.

What would happen if he tried to step on land? Does he get zapped or something?

I know. What will happen if he does step on land lol. Is it possible that he is like a fish? Steps on dry land and feels as though he can't breath in air. A fish out of water?

yes but in the clip on like 2:20 u can clearly see Davy on land standing next to Beckett.

and anyone notice on 2:23 Jack is swinging on a rope and drops someone, then 2:24 We can see Davy Looking Triumphant holding the chest (if u pause it Jack is in the Back still swingin on a rope pointing a gun at DAVY) and on 2:25 u see a close up of Jack still swinging on a rope and shoots the gun!! InterestinG!!!

The person that Jack drops is one of Davy's men. While Jack is still swinging he shoots Davy or his claw probably so he could drop the chest.

Yes, there's a collar around his neck that gives him an electric shock charge if he sets foot on land. They have some sort of a perimeter set up. 🙂
