You don't get it...do you?

Geesh...

i've had time to sit back, breath in breath out, think over eveything i know to be true..and I do get it...I've got it...I don't know why I panic so easily....just a character flaw I have...so sorry....

OMG...I do get it...jack doesn't want to be with strumpets anymore..he's done with that way of life...he is saying goodbye to his old life..
and I wonder who has his ship????????

😆 💃 😄

okay...it's time for me to accept its a Will and Elizazbeth ending. they have told us that all along. So I guess it's time for me to start digesting it. Dangit, I was coming up with so many clues that point to jack and liz while I was reading the novel today, then i get on here and see the new clips.

Oh well....I guess the shipping war is over. Okay, so Jack ends with getting slapped by the whores and then slapping Gibbs and Gibbs and Him share "dukes" while Gibbs wishes him well in going after Barbossa and the Pearl...and I guess that when that famous theme comes on and the credits roll....okay

okay...well, i guess that's kick-ass...Jack is once again going after the Pearl...
meanwhile, Liz is on an island waiting for the captain of the fd, the love of her life, will turner.

Okay the movie looks really good, and I was very much enjoying the novel, which I think is only half of the movie.

I bet when Liz and Will marry each other during the mist of the battle, it's very romantic and sweet..their triumphant moment after everything they've been through...very sweet....your first love, your true love...

why is my heart breaking so...

okay....anyway....yes, it'll be a great movie with lots of special affects and I get to see Johnny as Jack...oh, wasn't he so beautiful when he was describing being shot out of the cannon....johnny is amazing...

Where did you get that ending? Why is everyone feeling so pessimistic? For pete's sake, he's giving up the strumpets, do you not see the significance of that?

Not only that, but the "Jack Sparrow" facade is dropped. He's being completely and totally honest with them, something that Jack never does.

In DMC, the writers have said that Jack refuses to be an object of love, not sex.

And yet, in the strumpets scene, we see him rejecting sex. Wonder why that is?

I wonder where this picture takes place during the course of the film. He looks rather intense and sad. Maybe it's after Will snuffs it?

mmk, I'm back...

That picture, I never seen that picture. Is that the aftermath from the battle?

That is a truly beautiful shot, the light/dark contrast, the mood it creates. This movie is going to have so may gorgeous images. I like how even though it looks like hell just exploded all over him, Jack still has all his "effects."

He always looses his hat, yet he still has it well put in place. Very nice. I really think is the aftermath of it all. He looks so tired.

Look at his hand! His fingers look much, much bigger than normal. My goodness, they look claw-like. Could this be proof that Jack stabs the heart? His hand definitely looks very pale, and sort of like Davy Jones' claw. Or is this just me going crazy?

That was nicely put Willow! I agree! He looks put together, but look at his face. It's like he's trying to master his emotions. You're right about the light and the dark. It's like darkness is every where except around him. Oooo, ten points to Willo!

I think that's his sleeve. Don't worry, he doesn't necessarily stab the heart. 🙂

WOW I see that everyone here has been going through an emotional roller coaster. Some one told me (us) "Just don't read too much into these scripts or get too distraught if you read something you don't like" hmm. this person knows why he is saying that. I'm going to tell you guys a few things I was told regarding AWE and the main characters. Is your choice if you want to believe it or not. You have the right say what ever you feel like it. 😉
I'm going to be quoting what was said,

Fist of,

"Jack and Liz will have moments together. There are many feelings between them that need to be acknowledged and major things they need to come to terms with"

You all know have heard rumors about a shirtless Jack right? the person said,

"Can't say. Jack shirtless, that's a major plot point. Anything that causes females worldwide to faint like teenage fangirls is a major plot point"
*hint hint* 😛

About Jack saving Liz.
the person said,

"That Jack saves Liz AGAIN in AWE. "Does the guy ever stop saving her?"

About Jack being happy at the end.. The person said that,

"his lifelong struggle comes to an end. In order to end that struggle, he has to give up some things, and happiness always comes with sacrifice"

It was asked to the person, where are the major characters at the end? Jack, Liz and Will.

Can't say on all three. But some members of the trio end up on completely different sides of the coin.

Hope this helps, I think it kind of shed lights to a few things. 😉

Well, whatever. If I see one neagative post or one more damn complaint that's it I'll give up.

Next time, if someone feels like being negative and a f-ing whiner they are on their own. Stay on ship or get off, seriously.

so why does Jerry B. say that all Elizabeth wants is to be with Will, again is this a trick just to throw us off the scent????

I just don't get it.....the messages coming from this movie is driving me crazy and up and down a rollercoaster ride..and I apolized if my post upset some of you, but where i live it is freedom of speech and I just was getting it off my chest. I've tried to be positive about jack and liz since last july...but every time i think i've got it all figured out something new comes out to squash my hopes...and then with emotion running high, I speak before thinking it through, and I'm really sorry....

but I just dont' get it anymore.....I've racked my brains out over these clues and theories and symbolisms, hints, etc.....

and I'm not whinning...i'm just saying....i dont' know what I'm saying to be honest, I guess to me when I first saw the clip and saw Jack tell the strumpets that none of this mattered cuz once again he was without his ship...it just brought back flashes of the 100 page script where it says jack leaves gibbs in tortuga to go in search of the pearl and barbossa.....and then with Jerry B saying that Elizabeth just wants to be with Will....

Did you notice that when Jerry B said that about Elizabeth wants to be with Will,he sorta made a pause as if finding what to say?I mean yeah she wants to find Will, but I think he didn't tell us everything (why would he?)

This is what Jerry said.

"Elizabeth wants to be with Will and of course Jack....they all want to find Captain Jack."

omg! i noticed that too! he was hesitating! thats always a good sign! not that im anxious about sparrabeth or anything... 😄

Big deal, people. Move on to better things.

ok, ill talk about Jack

Where's savvysparrow? She's the only person whom I come here for.

I'm here ladies! There are good things in the wind, I can feel it. That strumpets scene smells of....redemption from all stand points.

Let's notice a few things about it, shall we?

For starters, notice what Jack reveals about himself.

1) He's tried to go back to his old way of life, but can't bring himself to do it.

Moreover, he's revealed that he thinks his old way of life lacks merit.

2) He reveals an extensive vocabulary that's very upper crust, as well as an absence of his typical drunken slurring. Which again, re-emphasizes that much of his behavior is actually an act.

3) He essentially shows these two women that he's not stupid, and that he's fed up with their unintelligent ways. He's rather have a smarter woman 😉

4) He's given up the opportunity for sex, and mentions to Scarlett that he doesn't love her. Wonder that is eh?

PS---I think y'all should listen to Misty. She's always done alright by us 😉

That scene is awesome. I keep re-watching it. I love it 😄

Exactly.

He just had enough of being surrounded by unintelligent women. He must think that he is too good for them.

Prior to that scene, Scarlett and Gissell finally found Jack and asked him if he's going to come back or who is he finally going to choose to stay.

Jack makes an "Erm, I don't think so" and Gissell probably goes:

"It's the dress isn't it? It makes me look fat?

Scarlett: "Is it because you don't love me?"

Then Jack goes over to Gibbs: "I don't want neither of them!"

Meanwhile, the strumpets are arguing on who Jack wants. And probably argued about the pies or something.

Speculation.
