Putting it all together...spoilers

Savvy, in response to your last post, i'm more intrigued by the possibilities... what rumours can we invent and run with to create havoc on the web??? LOL. by the way, were there still people who wanted the 36 pager or the earlier leaked script? I've got them if people want them, I thought I read a post about someone wanting it maybe?

Before we go on to rumors and which are true, I wanted to ask about the picture of Elizabeth screaming someone's name. I know a lot of people think she's calling for Jack...but I think she's got chopsticks in her hair. Aside from the time she's dressed in her pretty outfit from Sao, does she wear chopsticks at any other time in the film that we know of?

That could be when she is on Sao's ship and it get's destroyed and Sao dies... but I didn't know she ended up in the water, unless that's changed. but good detective work on the hair style. it doesn't look like she is screaming "sao" though, the shape is still "jack"...

I think, based on the expression of utter devestation on her face, that she's screaming for someone else who's name starts with "J".

Not if you're screaming it's not. The difference in the way the jaw drops for the vowel sound is quite similar. Since my hearing is so bad and I have to watch lips anyway to figure out half of what's being said, I would say that it's a 50% chance she's calling for James, 35% that she's screaming Jack, and 15% that she's just screaming. 😄

Kate, can I get a copy of that leaked script please as well. It'll save me time in arguing things with you guys when I can read what you're basing your arguments on!!

Well, I'm not arguing that she'd never call for Jack...I'm trying to place where it is in the film, and the only places I can possibly think of where her hair might be that way is when she's been with Sao, and I can't think of why she'd call for Jack since he most likely isn't there. Any ideas?

Well..someone has it as a siggy over at KTTC...and when you see it in slow motion....I am now convinced that she is screaming "jack"...I wasn't so sure until I saw that yesterday....

I'm with you Kate...

are there really chopsticks in her hair, or is it just pulled back? Because if it's just pulled back, it could be any time, because wet hair always looks that way. her hair is pulled back on the way too/at/after the pirate brethren meeting at shipwreck cove i think.

I don't know how any of you can place anything in the film based on a trailer that is just a 2 minute spinnet of a 3.5 hour movie...just think how many scenes are not in the trailer....so..who knows where is Elizabeth is when she's screaming for Jack in the water..it could be towards the end...when he is fighting Davy Jones and she sees Jack falling.....

If the whole thing about Jack "trading" her to Sao is true, she may be on his ship at the time and the others have come back to get her. I can't see all our heroes just leaving her there to her own devices, although I'm sure she could escape on her own. So if that scenario is true, Jack, and even James could possibly be there.

I'm not against the calling James possibility. I'm pretty sure it's Jack, but if you're screaming it could be James. The only thing is, I know she called him James a few times in COTBP and in DMC she addressed him only once by his full name, so maybe I'm retarded, but I am not sure she's on a first name basis with James. When you're screaming, I'm sure that's an exception. But I don't know if her impulse would be to scream his name or just like "watch out!" Lol, I'm rambling.

im going back to my earlier question... why does it really matter whose name Liz is screaming? It's not like that's the person she's going to marry. In that moment, someone's about to die... and that happens to our heroes a lot, so no worries. 😉

Lol, all hail Kate with the common sense. We're just trying to look for clues to what's going on. But like we all said earlier, it's not like she's yelling their name because of happiness or horniness. She looks pretty scared by whatever she's seeing.

I just know that her hair is never pulled back for the final battle...may have to ask whether she's in the water for the final battle at all...I wasn't under that impression.
