Putting it all together...spoilers

If you watch it slowly, frame by frame...

First of all, the sun glints off Davy's sword, if it was his broadsword that he had all along, it would be too crusty to have sunlight glinting off it.

Second of all, you can just see the part that protects the hand which is very ornate and identifiable...this is when the shot changes to Davy on the right so you can see it better.

LOL PirateDiva text me last night and I hadnt noticed till this morning that Pirategirl85 is going to watch an AWE clip..?

Something like that.

No darling Pirategirl85 said that she was asked if she was interested in joining something and watch an Exclusive Screening of a Movie that they couldnt give the title too because they would get in trouble...but they could say that it was A DISNEY movie and it's release date was MAY 25th!!

Ok which Disney Movie do we all know is coming out on May 25th? exactly...AWE so she signed up and said she was going but she has not said if she saw it or NOT!!!

So it wasnt just the Jack and Barbossa clip....it was the Whole thing!!

oh ok it does look like wills sword i can see that... WOW so... why is will's sword so special?

I honestly think that sword is destined to stab the heart of Davy....and the maker of the Sword (Will) is destined to be the Captain of the FD!! TOUCH OF DESTINY!!!

What the hell!?

Holly jumping beans! This is very exciting!! SQUEEE!!

a-k-a amber

I think Will had a destiny with that sword. Davy was using James sword that Will made--that WILL made.

Doesn't mean that we can't overlook James. I don't know what part he will play, but Im sure is important. Because all characters have an important role. Even Ragetti--that would be discussed later.

Quick question: Does any one know whether or not the rumor that Will and Elizabeth get married before Will supposedly stabs the heart is true or not?

no dont know if its true!!!

I have no clue....when I see Will propose to Liz I see no scar..

I'm just having trouble working out a whole time line for the movie. I would place the major battle towards the end of the film, and they're not obviously married then.

So, do they get married during the course of the battle? And then the whole heart thing happens, which brings me to the whole kid/ending rumor. How in the heck would there be any time?

Ok well here is a quote I got from T&T that we can talk about....it's about Captain Grant....

"Okay, so I'm taking the time to log on and offer a post here, prior to the release of At World's End, to clear up a few things regarding Captain Teague. (Terry here, one of the screenwriters.)

First, the character played by Keith Richards in the film is Captain Teague. It's not Grant, it's not Grant Teague, and most emphatically it is *not* 'Teague Sparrow.'

Please, no more 'Captain Teague Sparrow!'

Second, I'm bemused by the description of Teague as 'Jack's Father' ... as if that is a done deal. How does anyone know that? Nobody has seen the film yet, and yet everyone presumes that's the role. I hate to put too fine a point on it, but the role isn't determined by the media or the fans.

Hey, fine if you want to believe what you want to believe, but at least acknowlege, it's not a sure thing!

Now this is probably the most interesting thing the authors have said for a very long time. Personally, I think Teague is Jack's father (at least that's what Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush have said), but I guess the point Terry wanted to make is that his name is NOT Sparrow. So I think we can guess "Sparrow" is a name Jack made up himself - which, of course, leaves us wondering what his actual surname is ..."

Which fits in with the theory that Jack wasn't a pirate until he was branded one by Beckett. And that he was an ordinary man caught up in extraordinary circumstances, made the right decision, and was punished for it--similar to Will in DMC if you think about it.

Also, someone mentioned the absence of mothers, and the absentee fathers. I think that may be important when it comes to the ending and the purported kid.

Im starting to have doubts about this wedding 😬

Its just kind of confusing on how Will kisses Liz and then asks her to marry him. I think these scenes are switched.

Im not sure exactly on Jack's reaction. Especially the exact response that Liz will make to Will when he proposes.

Well, my thought is actually that the wedding takes place during that sequence, if it happens. I think he asks her to marry him again, and I believe her response of: "this isn't the best time" is in response to his suggesting they get married then and there. The kiss, if you're a party to the theory would then be the "kiss the bride" moment.

Then he would stab the heart, take over the dutchman, and lead the pirates to victory against Beckett. Apparently, after the battle, Will leads the souls of the dead back to the underworld.

I agree...

Funny thing is how after that scene theres a scene of Jack...

After the kiss, waves crashes down the ship. Jack falls down and/or gets hurt...Liz shouts Jack.

I don't think the scene where she screams and the fight sequence are in the same part of the movie. I'd like very much to be wrong, but I think she ends up in the water after she escapes from the Dutchman. Why she would be screaming Jack at that moment is a little beyond my comprehension but there you have it.

I think so savvy.

Not to be arguing with you because I love your mind, but I dissagree...

I try to recapture the scenes and they seem to match up. After Liz and Will kiss there is this crash of waves..Its possible that those waves could push Liz off board while Jack is still fighting with Davy.

Lets not forget they are in the middle of a whirle pool too....
