lol. That has nothing to do with it. I think you are just trying to be silly, here. The difference between Storm hitting her with the bolt and Magneto is the fact that Ororo was not using lethal force as the X-Men don't use that on each other in the Danger Room while Magneto was stated to use lethal force against Kitty.

Because when a bolt strikes, most of the energy goes around the target. However, Storm controls it and has done things like incinerate brood, blast holes thousands of feet into the street, etc.

Given these facts, can one say for sure she can beat Galactus or PF? However, as of right now, I am not going to say that Galactus or PF can either defeat or be defeated by FP Storm.

To me this means that currently Storm has the power of Phoenix, its just that she is holding back. This to me means that if she stopped holding back she can currently beat Big G, since the power is there.
I think at that time he was going by the one scan with the caption saying Storm can relate to the temptation of power Jean had and an interview of Claremont where he said Storm was supposed to be on par with Dark Phoenix. In a later interview he explained Phoenix wasn't initially intended to be as powerful as she is now and that she was supposed to be as powerful as Storm. The sun eating feat being explained as a "one off".

I do want upgrades: jovian pressure tk, being able to manipulate the weather world wide on a whim, durability, electromagnetic forcefields, Jovian pressure fields on a whim, more use to cosmic-level powers on earth(She should be able to produce temps as cold as maybe -200 and up to maybe the surface of the sun notwithstanding lightning also amybe Jovian Lightning and Jovian Electromagnetic phenomena), more use of transmutative abilities, More showings of her using winds that are thousands of miles per hour, More majical abilities, more flash freezing, Positive lightning blitzes, Acid rain, creating weather on the INSDIDE of people.
