Speaking on Swagger, I am pretty sure Russev will be going over him at Battleground. Though I enjoyed Zeb putting Lana in her place.

I have this feeling that Paige is most likely heading into the heel direction. Her recent behavior on this past smackdown, seemed a little odd(maybe just me).

Cena is coming out on top at the ppv that's for sure. Not sure if you guys frequent Youtube often, but there are vids of Cena haters to the extreme. I am not fond of Cena, but these guys are hilarious . If you guys have the time, watch this vid. Pure comedy.

😆 😆

Swagger can still come out as a string face even with a loss.
A double count out in a take it to the back brawl would own...!

I honestly think Swagger will be the first person to beat Rusev, tbh. Might not be at Battleground, but I can see it happening. Maybe at Summerslam.

Well we all should know that WWE is losing its ratings and money. So it's simple, give the belt to Cena, who appeals to ''other'' type audience, and it will be 2009-2010 again where Cena paints all over the main event scene, does most of the money making, bring some ratings in and be the face of the face...of the face and of the face...of WWE.

Okay...not really the point.
you said Cena will increase ratings...

Swagger is a jobber, Rusev will be Cena's bounce back after he drops the belt to Lesnar @ Summerslam.

I hope it happens this way.

I actually see it happening this way. No one will be able to defeat Rusev, unless its John Cena. I see it like Cena's "redemption" where he had to defeat The Rock the second time they met. Defeating Rusev will be his second redemption after losing the title to Lesnar.

Though I also see Cena beating back Lesnar. Cena has to come at on top with his rivalry's as we all know.

Not being a lesnar fan, i'm really not looking forward to the next couple months.
That said, your theory makes good sense.

I gotta say Impact this week was good, Raw on the other hand was piss poor.

Raw was okay.
I liked the Cena/Roman interaction at the end.

Watching Smackdown right now.

Pretty average show.
Still, Bo Dallas is slipping comfortably into full heel mode.
Jericho and Orton had a good match. Orton's win there, along with his end of show dominance painting him as someone not to overlook in the upcoming 4 way.
Reigns was, as usual, great to watch.

...how?

The Show started with Roman Reigns talking down on Cena generally making jokes that Cena sucks.

By the end of the Show Cena was saved by Roman Reigns for no storyline reason & then they just started celebrating together.

They have to find a way to get the U.S. Title off of Sheamus and set up a repeat of the best of 7 contest between Magnum T.A. and Nikita Koloff, with Rusev and Swagger.

The current audience probably has no idea about that storyline and a repeat would be great.

And?

Its what wrestlers do!

This week's Raw was meh. I liked the Swagger/Rusev exchange.
The main event was a little stilted, i think they may be saving up for the PPV.
Heyman's plan C. Too much to hope C stands for Cesaro?

That'd be epic. Simply epic.

Plan C is Lesnar. Period.

I'd bet my sig on it.

Not big on Rusev, idk hes kinda boring imo, but Lana 😍
Ziggler vs Fandango without interuptions could rebuild the IC belt's respect.
Sheamus vs Rusev will be after Cena buries Rusev most likely.

Damn lesnar. 😘

Why do you dislike Lesnar?

Many reasons, which usually lead to butting heads with other posters when explained.

Got the Smackdown spoilers as usual earlier this week. Unless ita way better than it reads, this will be a boring show to herald the PPV, aside from maybe two good matches.

I still think that if Cena is champ when he faces Lesnar, it's a huge ****ing mistake. We either get a part-timer as champion, or Cena beats the guy that beat the streak. Sure, even if Cena isn't champion that's still bad, but damn, it would be worse if it was a title match.

I expect Cena to go over at Battleground, but I really don't want him to.

Otherwise, wrestling has been good the last couple of weeks.

Those Rusev and Swagger segments evoke memories of Slaughter (during his betrayal too) and Sheik, and are flat-out amazing. I'm not even American and I want one of those new swagger shirts.

Miz has been, for lack of a better word, awesome. I am a fan of Miz, but I had wanted him to remain face. Holy shit though, the guy is amazing since he's reverted to the chicken-shit heel gimmick. His ring work is solid, both technically and especially psychologically, and he's as natural on the mic as almost anyone on the roster.

I really hope they let him run with this. A clean win over Sheamus is good, but he needs to keep that momentum going (even after Main Event).

Really glad Jericho is back, and the dude is showing no signs of rust. He still puts on ppv-quality matches, and he can still work a crowd better than anyone. Also, he's done a really good job of getting both himself and Wyatt over at the same time, which isn't at all easy.

Reigns... Ugh. I don't really dislike him, but I can already see them moulding him in to having all the worst qualities Cena has. They need to stop this. I hope HHH takes over soon.

Sandow is still awesome; his Shawn Michaels impression was great.

Ziggler still steals the show.

What bizarro world are we in where Cameron and Eva Marie are learning how to wrestle?

Think that's it...

EDIT: STARDUST. ****ING STARDUST. Holy shit, Cody and Dustin have been killing it lately, and you can tell Cody has thrown himself in to the gimmick and is actively enjoying himself. The dude is legit, and I would honestly be happy watching two hours of just promos.

Chances are Lesnar will go over Cena, and most likely hold the belt for a while. I'm guessing till wrestlemania. Reigns will probably win the rumble.

Swagger has been looking good, hopefully the will use this momentum toward a Cesaro Fued. Rusev will be fed to Cena. Period.

I agree with everything else except the Stardust part, but I'm not a fan of these wacky gimmicks.
