I'm for skill assimilation (no powers, only skills/intelligence).
I'm also for off-site 10 minute prep. However, I believe the stipulation should be you can only go to your personal base of operations. You can't just, for instance, say "I teleport to the Batcave and grab some Batarangs and a motherbox" when you're using Green Arrow. You'd need on panel evidence to support your prep location.
And Trickster, I'm for you being able to download weapon schematics from your opponents after your victory (just not during the fight), and you'd also have to recreate the weapon through your own abilities. You couldn't just grab Ironman's gauntlets or Black Knights sword and take it with you, you'd have to be able to reproduce it independently. So long as your offensive output doesn't exceed Ironman you should be good and legal.

Wait a second Ill, power copying is banned, period. He can't go get anyone else's specs and incorporate their tech into his person in any way, shape, or form. I've already told leo and Blair the same thing, and it holds true for everyone. I'd have to say I disagree.
I don't see recreating an artificial weapon as power copying.
If I have a laser blaster and you don't, but you have the ability to either download schematics and create a laser blaster from your own being/tech or form any weapon you can think of (like a techno-organic shape shifter), it would be legal (i.e. Warlock, Blue Beetle). Tony's suit isn't his power, it's an exo-suit with many weapons built into it that he uses. Tony has no powers.
If another character can reproduce the same results via their own means I don't see how it is illegal. They'd of course need proof to back it up, but re-creating a tractor beam, laser cannon, or a repulsor blast is a lot different than copying someone's telepathy, ability to turn into organic steel, or control over the electro-magnetic spectrum.
Ok folks I'm going to put off the next tourney matches for just a bit. Trick is the ONLY one on right now, and he's the only one who's write up I have. I'll PM everyone else and try to figure out what's going on. If I still haven't gotten them by tomorrow I'll go ahead and start the matches whether I have them or not, but I'd rather not do that until I give them one last chance to do a write up.

🙁 Oh well. So 4pm California time tomorrow? Cause I'm not gonna be here during the morning. I'm gonna be at the NCAA Track and Field Trials during the day, and I won't be back until midnight at times. The trials are till saturday. I'll post my replies whenever I get back.
