I'd have to say I disagree.I don't see recreating an artificial weapon as power copying.
If I have a laser blaster and you don't, but you have the ability to either download schematics and create a laser blaster from your own being/tech or form any weapon you can think of (like a techno-organic shape shifter), it would be legal (i.e. Warlock, Blue Beetle). Tony's suit isn't his power, it's an exo-suit with many weapons built into it that he uses. Tony has no powers.
If another character can reproduce the same results via their own means I don't see how it is illegal. They'd of course need proof to back it up, but re-creating a tractor beam, laser cannon, or a repulsor blast is a lot different than copying someone's telepathy, ability to turn into organic steel, or control over the electro-magnetic spectrum.

Look, Newjak, a weapon is not a power, that's all I'm saying, and I'm not mixing terms or anything. If you have the ability to fabricate a weapon, so long as it doesn't exceed the Ironman Cap, it's legal.
Blue Beetle and Warlock's (and to a degree, DH-II's) ability set is based on morphing body parts into weapons. If they learn how to create a new weapon and it's not beyond the caps I see no reason why it wouldn't be legal. If Warlock were to simply fabricate his arm into a repulsor cannon (which he's perfectly capable of doing even without downloading the specs), so long as he can provide proof it's possible and he doesn't exceed Ironman's output it's legal.
How you can't see the logic in that is beyond me.

You were even arguing about it to the Director who you are all to happy to quote about power copying and other rulings he has made but oh no, not when it is against your logic right.
The fact is it may be tech but it is still power in that it grants people extra abilities. Ironman's, Armor, Spiral's magic, Karate Kid's fighting abilities.

Weapons aren't powers, and 3 characters in this tourney have the ability of weapon fabrication.

Why is it that Ironman and BP's mind in fact why is it the Mind Category in whole is allowed to do something none of the others are allowed to do. It is a double standard that was never addressed or made clear in this tourney. Like I said either everyone gets to do it or no one is allowed.
