Just push forward. I know the part you're at. There will always be an enemy waiting in a specific spot to take you out. Just push forward after you're sure you've taken out a couple of enemies. Your allies will follow and position themselves in front of you, though not to far. Where they are they become bait and they get shot at, so you can either wait for them to take out the one shooting them(lousy and lenghty) or you can risk it and take them out yourself. Rinse and repeat. The main problem with this part if that sometimes the checkpoints don't register(at least to me). After you've cleared this part grab a shotty and start blasting shit left and right.

5 minutes is okay in that area, and even if it does stick you without time to clear it you can always restart the level. Reaching that certain point again won't take too long nor too hard since you've already done it.
