i dont think it'd work...the idea would be to try and have full scale battles like in real war but it would just consist of loads of people running around trying to be heros

unless they introduced artillary and proper gun emplacements but then some people would just be stuck in one position for whole battles

As an MMO, no.

But as a Battlefield clone, then yes, it could work.

So I finally got to level 55, eager t find out what Prestige Mode actually is. However all of a sudden I needed an additional 5k exp to open Prestige Mode (gah!).

Now that that is done, I finally found out what Prestige Mode is... And it is simply a big pile of shit imo. I should turn in all my perks and weapons to get a slightly different symbol next to my name? A huge letdown.

I've seen plenty of lvl 10 prestige guys.

My problem is that my favorite good ol' P90 isn't available before the 40s

Meh, make yourself familiar with other weapons and you'll be fine, that's what I did and I'm already on prestige 8 and pretty soon 9.

I'm familiar with all weapons, it's still a waste of time, and I wouldn't get my favorite weapon.

i finally saw someone on prestige 10 rank 55 today....the word "geek" doesn't even begin to cover it

I've seen a few in the PC version.

It's probably easier on the PC to get it.

Yeah, I've noticed it's fairly easy to find noob filled server (almost as easy to find a noob filled infantry only server on BF2) on PC and the action just feels a bit faster.

what is teh problem with 'noobs?' everyone starts somewhere, and instead of complaining about how shit they are give them some advice and help them along the way. this is a community not a friggin school where bullies are rife.

I hate the term noob also and how its used in games.

That's why I like playing online for the PC because you dont have a bunch of ****ers talking shit like on the 360.

But yeah, the word noob is gay when its used in context of how somebody plays in a game.

Look, I don't like it either, but when someone who's say, prestige level 10 gets a kill/death ratio of say, 0,20 five games i a row I think you can consider him a noob and not a newbie. And now when the game's been out for a while it's pretty rare to see someone who's rank 1-10.

@ Smasandian, That's what the mute function's for and sometimes it's kinda fun to see what bullcrap they have to say.

Still, its a stupid word.

Yeah, there is a mute in some games, but I still like the free PC online that isnt filled with 14 year old boys with high pitched voices.
