DP went Toe to Toe with killmonger, but at the end of the fight, it seemed killmonger was getting the advantage.
Also, BP has killed killmonger once in a fight, when he was revived he had Superhuman Strength and Durability, BP still fought this version of Killmonger for 13 hours straight, and was going to win until he was interrupted and Panther let his guard down (T'challa was on top of killmonger about to strike the final blow, when Ross called his name, Panther turned away, and Killmonger took advantage of it and wrecked T'challa). A little PIS was all the "schooling" was my friend.

The words are "So well matched...." They arent very evenly matched at all. At least skill wise imo.

Yes Ive seen the fight, also panther wasn't KO'ed in that fight. Was he down, sure, but then again so was daredevil. But I don't mind giving Daredevil the W, all the top tiers have lost at some point, it just seems to me, with panther's very few losses he is judged much harsher.
All top tiers have lost, including DD, some have lost multiple times, hell, a few have them have been completely schooled.
Edit: Also I could sit here and argue all day that BP was just trying to talk DD down and get him to listen to him.
But.......I would probably get no where with that.

Honestly Soljer, I don't think Rand and Chi are Top tiers. I love danny, he is Right up their with BP, Cap Juggernaut then him as my favorites. But he just isn't top tier.
I get the feeling he is too rushed, to uncontrolled so to say. Iron Fist tends to get stupid the second a fight doest go his way.
To me, that is not a Top Tier martial Artist, yes he has mastered his Chi, but that alone should not give him a top spot, Look at Karnak, he freaking spent years mastering his skill, he can bend steel girders, knock out class 100's, etc. I don't see anybody giving Karnak a top Tier spot just because of this.
My point is, Yes he knows a great deal about martial arts, but he doesn't know exactly how to use his skills in the most effective manor. Take Cap, BP, Daredevil (In my opinion the three most skill martial artist). They have all mastered many forms of martial arts yet still, they took what they knew, and created their own styles, I mean, how hard is that? How hard is it to create you own style of fighting and have it be effective in an actual fight? The last time someone did that in real life, he was pretty much crowned the greatest Martial Artist to ever live.
In summary, Danny posses the skill, but not the experience yet, in a few years (comic time) he'll be a top tier, just not right now.
As for shang chi, Top tiers should never get schooled as bad as he was vs wolverine.

Panther's suit has some crazy durability for a street leveler. Taking direct hits from machine/energy guns (Cap got killed by just regular pistol shots!)!? Taking direct hits from Danny's IF (Punches that have knocked out namor, wrecking crew, and causing earthquakes!)? How well would BP be if he had a costume like DD or Cap?
