Just because they were not originally something dies not mean they are not that now. Emma frost was originally a bad guy, but she's not considered to be one now, same with rogue. Even nintendo would not be a video game company by the argument of what they started off. as they started off making hanfuda cards.

So G.I. Joe and transformers might have started off as toys but that does not mean they don't make comics. Nintendo might have started off as hanfuda cards, but that does not man that they do not make video games. But then the question becomes of how long would they have to have been doing it in order to be counted as a comic book?

Buffy's comics have been around since 1998 that's nearly 10 years.
The forgotten realms comics were first published in 1989, that's 18 years That's only 5 less years than the transformers comics.

So what's the cut off date? 20 years? 30? 40?

actaully my reason for not wanting to move cable down is untill some one present evidences showing why he does not deserve second tier.

also in this thread I was the original perosn to disagree with cable being second tier untill martian presented me with information which if not mistakeb is in this thread.

Theres no denying it, whether we realize it or not.

Herc may only know wrestling, boxing and a few greek styles, but he is a formidable H2H fighter.

I'll co-sign him to 2nd tier. And keep Ted Grant in 2nd tier. The man is the best boxer in DC. Hell, he trains the JSA, Batman, and many others.

Hell no on Cable being 2nd tier.

And why is Deadpool not top tier?

I was thinking maybe the name of this should be fighting ability not MA skill because not everyone knows a MA but is still an awesome fighter.

lady deathstrike,silver sam,ronin,echo,puck,leo are just a few who mkae herc look foolish in a fight in pure skill

Exactly. There are individual martial arts within the school. Ninjitsu is very, very often confused with Taijitsu.

Anyways....On a semi-somewhat-kinda related note...should we include weapons skill in these tierings? Or only empty handed skill?
