Cable stays in 2nd tier.
He's gone up against ninjas, Wolverine, Domino, Captain America, Iron Fist & Powerman, Deadpool, soldiers/robots, Gambit and Sunfire, etc.
Not all that he's used solely H2H against, but it's almost always included, and I'm too lazy to grab specific feats.
Domino to second tier, b*tches.

Anyone know what year the G.I. Joe cartoon first aired? I'm think '94, which is two years after G.I. Joe #1.
Originally posted by BattlehammerActually its called hybrid martial arts, incorporating a gymnastics skill (its a skill not an ability like flashes speed as you have to learn it) into a fighting style is part of a skill set.
............that rediculous if that was the case.............flash uses super speed when he fights so he must be uber skilled beyond reason.sorry it does not work.
fighting skill is how good you fight skill wise not your other abilties
Hybrid martial arts are martial arts that incorperate different martial arts moves and skill sets into a signle style. Jeet-kun-do is an example of a hybrid martial art.
DD's incorporation of different styles can be considered a hybrid matial art, as can Jubilee incorperating the skill she learned from the top teir fighter as well as her own gymnastic abilities. Simply because one preforms a cartwheel that they learned in gynmnastics does not invalidate its useage while in a hand to hand fight. Same with other moves that can be associated with gymnastics such as back handsprings and back flips and the like.

Still no on Cable. He's got TK/TP, cyber enhancements and future weapons.
And no on Domino. Powers, *****. 😛 Third tier sure, but not 2nd.

gynmnastic asset may make you more effective, but no more skilled

I'm sorry but that flip you used you learned during gymnastics, not while learning a martial art, so it doesn't count.

Yeah, you're being unreasonable.
These guys obviously arn't martial artists as they incorporate gymnastics into their art...

ugg. I did not mean moves that are already in certain styles. I ment the physical aspect. like being extremely fast, makes you more effective, but not more skilled.
like spiderman is extremely acrobatic naterually so should he be moved up a tier? He uses his gymnastic abilties in his fighting.
same with durability. herc uses his durability to his advantage in a fight making him more effective.
physical abilities should not mention when determine some ones level of skill.
sure jublee learned her gyminastic as a skill. But people like spiderman naterually have it so should they automatically be moved up as well even thought there skill was no learned.
it just hard to guage you no what i mean.
im not being unreasonable I think your missing my point.
just we need to determine if it there own natural abilities or a learned skill.
for example I believe jublee learned the skill and it enchanced her fighting skills by adding to them.
other hero however naturally have gymnastic abilties of her level with out training so should they be as skilled a fighter as her?

Well I'm not talking about people who have it as part of their powerset like gambit or spiderman, just those that learned the agility. As those it does add to their overall skill rather than it being reliant upon a power.
