Well, there's also PIS\CIS\specific weakness thing.

Karate Kid's powerset\skillset makes him a nemesis of any brawler, but put him against somebody more versatile in PIS\CIS-less fight...and his chances are considerably lessening there.

Example- Karate Kid can take down Hulk, since Hulk is one-dimensional brawler. But I don't like Karate Kid's odds against for example Exodus.
Having opportunity to beat some class of charactersdoesn't mean moving up or down, it does mean having advantage over said class. In Karate Kid's case, he's a nemesis of one-dimensional brawlers\characters who use brawling as preferred way of fighting.

I'm making two motions:

Solomon Grundy (peak) down to High Herald.

Karate Kid down to High Meta.

Even at his team-wrecking best, Grundy lacks Transcendent-level feats. KK doesn't belong in Low Herald. He's stalemated Low Heralds at his best, but never really beaten them. Basically what you'd expect if, say, Iron Man were to spar with a lot of Low Heralds. A lot of good showings, but few (if any) wins.

👆

Vote for Karate Kid for high-meta.

Holding my vote on Grundy until more info comes.

agree with both.

Edit.

question, where does marvel boy rank?

I would say he has not enough showings against established characters. But after SI we will have him appear more, so it will probably boost his showings considerably.

sounds good...

I want to propose a rule of minimum showings required to enter in this thread, that is, no cameo appearances and showings in which the skills are tested to be or not in the level. What do you think?

Also, why is Dr. Manhattan in Trans?

Manhattan is the ultimate case of on-panel feats vs. reasonably implied power. Any discussion with him will be a sh*tstorm.

In more productive news, enough people liked my Grundy and KK motions that I'll be implementing them in a moment here.

okay, so then where do we rank superman prime (the golden one?)

No clue. I've never read any of his stuff. I'm also just a spokesperson....I'm not the final judge on moving people. Manhattan, for example. I can see the reasoning for him there, but I don't remember voting on him personally.

In any case, we can discuss anyone we want, and I just facilitate the changes that are voted on.

ohh, i wouldn't really like to see anyone actually vote on prime. i was just curious what you thought lol.

Ah. In that case, sorry I can't help since I'm not familiar with him. That's from the 1 Million stuff, yes?

Trying to act like a smartass = -1 cool points.

I still say DM should be mid-herald at best.
