Colossus is not smarter then red, he clearly not more skilled, hell even his durability is questionable. Omega Red armor only been pierced by adamatium, and he has a crazy healing factor on top of that. Omega Red wrecks teams, just because he one of Wolverine enemies does not mean Wolverine can take him.

This is stupid, this tier thread is not based off were people should be there based off bias. No one even giving a good reason for why Red below individuals he utterly wrecked twice. I mean is not the point of this thread to decide were people should be place based off there abilities rather then who people like more? I mean I dont care if people disagree with my idea to move him up however I do find it very annoying no one can give one good reason for why colossus is more powerful overall then red.

He was still a rookie. Danger Room training made him (and the rest of the team) nearly immune later.
Rossovich doesn't have that training. Was he even teleported by 'Crawler before?

It makes sense when you think about it. At least four "bamf" teleports in a row for someone who is not used at all to that kind of experience is extremely exhausting.
In Uncanny #96 Colossus hit Wolverine with full strength. Logan was completely fine after that and smiling. Fourteen issues later he teleported with Kurt for the first time. That left him in a daze, arguably even KO'd for a minute.
Then we've to remember what condition Red was in. Tortured. Took all those punches and stabbings from the duo. No wonder he blacked out, really. He isn't Superman.

i do get your point, but kurt has tp'd other people before with no ill effects, hasn't he?
and i think the condition red was in does lead on to another point. he was beaten by three x-men. three x-men who weren't in great shape. not exactly a team wrecker to be proud of, imo...

Well... yes. One writer ignores another, as always. Elf more often than not 'ports his teammates, though. They're toughened by countless days of training in Danger Room.
Arkady was in captivity much longer than the trio, wasn't he? He wasn't even wearing his famous armor. Anyhow, three of the most popular X-Men proved to be too much for him. I don't have a problem with that.

i don't have a problem with it in general, i just thought the execution was poor.
when it comes to Red, i've just never been THAT impressed with him. Sure, he's cool and all, but... I dunno... When i read comics with him in it, i always sort of feel like the x-men took some stupid pills that morning...

based on what? Most of the x-men are KOed within seconds of encounters with him. How was colossus being dumb? He in there first fight used a rock, which was brilliant, based on the fact melee is a bad option vs red. Then in the recent encounter he attacked red while he was distracted which again brilliant, to trying to capitalize on it, but red simply to tough.

Also against Red to High Meta. Like a lot of characters who get discussed, it's usually a case of either being the head of their current tier, or being among the lowest of the next tier.
Maybe he can beat Colossus for a majority. Maybe Colossus is one-dimensional enough to even belong in mid. But Colossus himself doesn't make a case for me, not when I can see people who would give him an epic fight in mid meta (Ms. Marvel, Moonstone, etc.) and loads who would punk him in High.

Then you msut be fore colossus moving down since Omega Red would beat more people in high meta then colossus would and would stand a better match vs any of them then colossus.

How would Ms.Marvel or MoonStone give Omega Red and epic fight again? Both of them would litterally pass out if not die within seconds of being introduced to the pheramones let a lone the death factor. So if that your arguement you need another one.

To be honest, if we're moving anything then Ms. Marvel or Victor Mancha should be the first ones to get moved up. Victor is Magneto-lite, how would Omega Red fare against him 😄
