Why is Cap on high street and Shang Chi at low meta? Hawkeye is in the same tier as Cap? Putting Cap in high street tier is nonsense. Cap is amped to peak human across the board. Peak human is basically low superhuman. Some characters have one or two stats in peak human but not across all stats plus Cap has a low level HF and it amps his intelligence. How the SSS affects his intelligence has been downplayed a lot but his mind is like Deathstroke.
We know that Shang can amps his stats with chi but most of the time he's not amped and even if he is amped does he get amped to superhuman levels or peak human? I'm thinking peak-human, so Shang Chi has to amp himself to be on the same level as Cap.
EDIT: What???? Batman and Nuke are a level above Cap in Low-Meta....
If you go back a few pages you will see that Batman got bumped up to Low Meta based in the quality and feats of his full equipment. He has a versalitily that Steve just cannot match. In the same vein, Hawkeye carries equipment that can put a lot of work vs different enemies despite being inferior to Cap in status.
Regarding Shang, I think we were voting to demote him previously, so that criticism might be justified.

Ok that seems fair still doesn't change the fact that peak-human is basically low superhuman and has boosted stats across the board including intelligence. Having an indestructible shield is a huge plus and he is quite versatile with it. Considering thats his only really weapon is quite impressive. Cap has been able to get out of loads of death traps just with his skill and shield held his own against Taskmaster without weapons who use his gadgets, was able to get out of skrull hand-cuffs which was deisgned for shapeshifters even ones that can turn into energy form he did that without his shield. I could argue that Cap is just as versatile as Batman. However I think the best word to use here is effective it doesn't matter how versatile you are if you're tachniques don't work.

That's actually a concession in the very post concerning this topic and that's me willing to accept that you can argue that he is more verastile however what my real point is that he is just effective and if that's the case he deserves to be in low-meta. Which is a perfactly reasonable point which you completely ignored.
So I might actually still be willing to debate whose more versatile but I don't think you're going to play fair.

I'm not sure if you're trolling but you didn't actu;lly post any proof and even if he beat him once that doesn't count, when everything else shows that Bane will beat him with venom. So provide some proof or shut up.

I do not at all mind rational discussions being had regarding the placement of certain characters. The list is certainly not irrefutable and is subject to change at any time, providing a strong enough case can be made about the character(s) in question.
However, I do not want bashing/flaming to ruin this thread like it did years ago. Keep it civil.

If you disagree, you're more than welcome to put a post together detailing the reasons why you feel like he should be bumped up to LM. After you do so, we can put Cap back on the 'ballot' as it were, and vote again on his placement.

Oh, anyone can vote at any time -- it's totally open. The panel was mainly put together so that we for sure had multiple people who were willing to vote on all the characters proposed, instead of just hoping users would randomly pop-in and give their opinions here and there.
