For those who aren't familiar with his show, he regularly slams MSNBC (the TV station he is on), calling them idiots, morons, and low-lifes, to name a few of the derogatory terms he has for the employees. He only cares about his radio show. So I don't think pulling the plug on his TV spot is going to affect him. The radio will, however.
that's a shame, sorry to use a curse word, but "shit" gets translated wrongly when whites use the same words that blacks use on each other, information gets lost in translation, even though we are saying the SAME words, but a different color, things get lost in translation, it's the interpretation of it all.

SOME black people only want to talk about why it's the white man's fault, if a black person expresses otherwise, they will be1. labeled an uncle tom (-joke- or aunt Jemima, whatever happened to her commercials, it's all about ms. butterworth)
2. labeled a fool or crazy or stupid
3. personally attacked
most of them don't want to hear the truth, they can't hear it from whites or they will go nuts, and they hardly tolerate it from "black" looking people, but they know how to harass a person, a total stranger, just b/c they look kinda black, and after harassing them, they are shocked when that person talks about the crap that they've done.
You do not even hang with black people or, according to you, niggers.
What do you know about this? What basis?

Stern was never funny b/c i don't really like some of the degrading comments he makes toward women and the women on there go along with it, it's amazing, the shock value is that they don't curse him out, if he said the same thing to a woman (any female), he would get slapped, but on his show, it's funny b/c those kind of conversations aren't suppose to happen, so, some men find it really really funny. i never have. But there is comedic value in what he does b/c some people find that kind of stuff entertainment, it makes them laugh.

oh whatever, i didn't accuse EVERYONE of anything, stop looking for strength in numbers by stating it's "everyone", interesting technique, but not accurate.and he was defending the act and he knows it, i am not going to chase across the threads, looking or racing for evidence, he knows how he placed his argument and it was attacking me (in defense of the rape). sorry that's how i see it, next time someone says they are raped, don't start to seek reasons of how the person deserves it...once you start asking yourself "what did that person do to deserve that act", you are taking the position of defending that act, another case in which he did that..., he even said that the black lady in the mall (who almost hit me b/c i didn't say "hi" or acknowledge her) was justified b/c he said i probably had my nose in my butt, what kind of talk is that, but justifiying the act(s), you don't hit a perfect stranger, it's not civil, plenty of people of all races speak to me or ignore me, when i say "hi" to them, and i don't seek to hit a person who doesn't say "hi", omg, that's what's wrong with some parts of black culture, they don't correct the actions, they look for excuses or defense for it.
What? I embarass you by making points and then you go and lie on me?
I do not trust you as a narrator. You probably think the Rodney King incident happened because he had it coming or something. If you were telling us what happened, he would have been a ninja using Kage Bushin ninjustu and they got to him before he got to unleash some deadly genjutsu. of course, you would call it voodoo magic but yea.
Still, FIND MY POSTS AND QUOTE THEM HERE FOR EVERYONE TO SEE. DO IT! I DARE U! PROVE YOUR POINT!

really, i think imus is a shmuck, and most likely a racist, but i dont see him as
dangerous. isnt that why we're supposed to be all up in arms? or is it all about hurt feelings?
he's not a racist, omg, i have been around racist whites before (remember i lived in klan town), Imus isn't racist, he just says the first thing that comes off his chest, and a lot of it is crude but has comedic value, so what he made fun of a girl's bb team, even though it was overblown, i bet each of them went to the beauty parlor before the public interview. 😱

Rodney King was on drugs, high on crack or cocaine, and yes, they went overboard in beating him, although they said he was resisting but the tapes show that they were in the heat of the moment and RK was already down for the count, but technically, they are trained to keep their cool, and it's not about race, i've seen cops beat up people (whites and blacks), some of them do get too heated, but their jobs require them to think it terms of "defense", so i can't place myself in their shoes, they are held accountable but they are also exhaulted b/c they put their life on the line... and this isn't about RK, why are you fishing?

The problem is that we don't need you doing this. Your views on the whole matter are severely warped.

don't u get it? i am not upset at Imus or Stern, i just don't listen to them b/c I DO NOT FIND IT FUNNY, but, I RESPECT the fact that some people DO FIND THEM FUNNY, so both of them have comedic value, not to me, b/c i don't listen to that, it doesn't make me laugh, but I know how some people think and how some people would find it funny, it's ok, it's a free country, laugh if you like it, i don't condemn men for watching Stern, I just won't watch it myself.
Re: Imus appology for calling BF BB players nappy hos
Originally posted by Czarina_CzarinaEveryone has a nappy head after they've taken a nap.
Now, I've been around black people, who use the term nappy headed and hos...and this guy says a lot of things that are off the top, that's why he is so funny, but, b/c he is white and said "nappy" and "ho" when referring to blacks who say that about each other, he is in trouble. wow.http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/TV/04/09/imus.ap/index.html?eref=rss_topstories
I'll repeat myself:
I watched the comment of the Rutger's University BB couch. She talked about the academic talents of her female BB players (so her argument is that they aren't stupid and they are "worthy" or contribute to society...so that tells us right there, how she translated the words "nappy headed hos" and the resulting emotions from what was interpreted...so now that we know her defense, we know what the antagonist is all about, it represents the translated word as meaning "they are not intelligent, don't contribute to society, and are unworthy" and that emotion becomes a character that is racist, that's the antagonist).
About 10 years ago or more, someone could argue that athletes are meat heads and are stupid, but a lot has changed and many people are aware of the credentials and the academic requirements of college athletes. I doubt anyone who is a reasonable person, would assume that college athletes are generally stupid or below the average in intelligence. The "nappy headed hos" comment invoked a particular emotion and a reason for defense, but defense from WHAT? I've heard that term (nappy headed hos) used to describe black females who aren't maintaining their looks (esp. their hair), it's a pejorative term and sometimes used by blacks to "classify" a person, now when blacks hear a white person use it, they ASSUME that the classification is more derogatory. And regarding physical looks or maintenance, you do see many black females who aren't "kept up" b/c they aren't financially secure or they are putting their income into a child or spouse. Plenty of people stop taking care of themselves for various reasons in life. His referral to them as "nappy headed hos" must have been translated as the feelings of being less or not progressive or uneducated. Once you understand the feelings, you can figure out why the couch puts up that kind of defense or argument.
I think the black community (church leaders, civil rights leaders), FEEDS on emotionalism, not sure if that's a feel good method or something more strategic, but it's not solving the overall condition, why would SOME blacks feel so hurt about this, what are they rehearsing?
