You know, JIA, it wouldn't be blasphemy for you to just separate science and religion and quit worrying about whether they correlate with each other. To put it simply, you could accept that science is the study of evidence and religion is the study of truth. It allows you to study evidence and draw unbiased conclusions without sinning against God. Lots of good Christians manage it just fine.

Why does everything rest on this "Big Bang" theory? This could be the tip of an ice burg. Nothing is absolute, is it? Everything is in constant motion? Everything changes from form to other forums. Why do we think we know everything that is outside the box?

I assume that Kolob is a planet in another universe...or rather, in a different plane of reality. Different physics, different consciousness.

In Mormon theism, Kolob is the planet nearest God's domain/existence. If you think Mormonism is fiction, that is some good writing and makes for a great type of story. Joseph Smith was either an absurd genius or he was truly a prophet of God.
