Please show me how the universe is a closed system? If as you want to say Hubble is correct and the universe is expanding at an increased rate then that would be a contradiction to a closed system. The very presence of God would mean that it is not a closed system, and unlimited power source that can do any thing it wishes. If it is a closed system then how is the universe still expanding according to you? Are not stars still being formed? Are not galaxies being destroyed and recreated? All of these things we can see and view.

No, you don't understand what a closed system means. All of the matter, energy, and space-time that constitutes the universe has already been created. What the universe is doing (perhaps) is expanding with all of these elements already formed. Hey, just bake a cake with toppings inside of it to get an idea of things that expand with ingredients already present in them.

As far as spirit is concerned. I only have spirit in me after I drink a beer. Spirit is just another word for soul. It is that liquid stuff that is in us. It is also known as blood. People of the past did not understand how the human body worked. They thought it was spirit (blood) and random things that worked magic. They used to think that the heart, not the brain, was were we thought. This is were a lot of magic came from.

I am correct according to the Scriptures. The Bible has a lot to say about the soul. Spirit is not another word for soul, they are distinct realities. Your blood is not your spirit or soul because blood is material, but the spirit and soul are immaterial.
