Can you handle the Truth?

"7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons."

Didn't have the knowledge then all of a sudden they did, seems like you are wrong to me.

"9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?"

How can God knot know where Adam is if he is all knowing and only in his garden?

if god is all powerful he has no moral or physical or meta physical etc constraints. 0. you saying he does destroys your point. idiot

"11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?"

Why didn't God already know the answer?

That is easy, god is acting like the parent, and Adam and Eve are the children. God is trying to teach Adam a lesson.

But I thought I was supposed to take the Bible literally, that is what some Christians say I should do and others say I shouldn't. I'm so confused and I don't know what to believe, I guess I should not believe in nothing and be happy. 😄

Exactly, it was a rhetorical question.

he did. thats the most retarded part of the idea of god. he already knows EVERYTHING before it happens, therefore before you were born, god already knows everything your gonna do in ur entire life, predetermining if your going to heaven or hell

So, god is teaching himself? And why does an all-knowing god need to learn anything?

He's reminding Adam and Eve of their transgression by bringing it up.

Then Adam and Eve must have some memory problems since it just happened and they needed to be reminded of it already.

So what should it be?

Take the bible as..

It is written, word for word
Interpret the meaning of the Word of God

OMG, it's contagious. 😱

😆

What do they really expect if they can agree between themselves? One says that their version is right and the other is wrong, one says that you should take the Bible literally and the other says not to and both say they are right.

I just found this link How to Persuade an Atheist to Become Christian but I loved the first part.

“Are you prepared? Most Atheists are highly intelligent. Probably better educated than you are and have spent a lot of time thinking about reasons TO believe. You have to give the a real reason - not just an emotional one! You need to read and think a lot too. Don't be surprised if they manage to persuade you to give up your beliefs.”

Some I think they need to follow

Listen carefully to the concerns and reservations of the unbeliever. Try to understand their stated reasons for not believing, then address each of those concerns directly. Emphasize verifiable truth over unverifiable dogma, and work together with them to discover what is actually true, with honesty and integrity. If you show an openness to understanding your friend's beliefs and opinions, this will earn their respect.”

“Consider how you would respond if someone was attempting to persuade you to change your beliefs. Be gentle in attempting to persuade an atheist, as their own beliefs are just as important and central to who they are as yours are to you.”

An unbeliever may not be swayed by arguments from the Bible, since he or she does not believe that it is divinely-inspired, or possibly that deities even exist. Quoting a Bible verse might be sufficient if speaking to a fellow Christian, but it will likely not be convincing for an atheist.”

Not bad advice. It's always a good idea to treat other people with care and respect even if the agenda is misguided.

Common sense really but sometimes I think people should be reminded of it.
