I do find the adoration of cows pretty irrational. Though, it does harm less people than the hatred for gays.
So? What does that have to do with the conversation?
Capt. is saying that the resentment of gays is irrational. I'm pointing out that so is putting cows on a pedestal. But what's the common denominator between these two schools of thought? The answer: religion. But he maintains that religion isn't the case in the former.

I took those into account...also those dying of starvation in front of well nourished, delicious cows.Homo hate still "won".
Nonetheless someone should still go out and explain how Hinduism is irrational and everyone who believes in it is wasting their life. Clearly stopping fundamentalist Christians isn't working so it would be a nice change of pace.

It would be refreshing. Still, one step at a time, eh?

Because it wouldn't be as fun. Hindus believe that all relgions are a valid pathway to Heaven.

There are a lot of people around to spread the . . . well the word I suppose. Working in parallel would save(?) everyone so much faster.
That's one theory, another would say that concentrating on Christians (and maybe Muslims) might speed things up for multiple other reasons (main first world religion, largest religion) and likely limit the harm done to people from a humanitarian standpoint...also, Hindus are just filthy, who wants to talk to them?

But fundamentalists tend to be monolithic so less man power is needed to save(?) them. You just need to convert(?) a few of the big names and the rest will fall like a house of pancakes, yahtzee!
