i would personally be scared to do such a thing if i knew of his existence.

i am glad you havent resorted to calling all of us athiest today. 😄
because the catholic church believes in evolution, i know its not the same thing to fundamentalist christians..

even the creationist museum states and believes in evolution not just regular evolution but super evolution even though it fights against regular evolution... 😕

talking about the flood and animals by the way...

I firmly believe that by believing in evolution you are not thinking logically and rationally.

They believe the way that they do because they either do not know what the Bible states or because they simply refuse to believe what the Bible states concerning the origin of life.

This is obvious because you seem to repeatedly display an intentional unwillingness to understand it. If I wanted to call algebra the work of the devil because I tried my hardest not to comprehend it or because I refused to accept it because it wasn't the result of christian science, then I might not know what A equals, even though the reality of it is right there to be found.

Sorry for sounding so presumptious, but the only responses in this thread that strike me as ill-informed and intentionally ignorant are your own. You seem to approach this subject like a five year old with his fingers in his ears. You assume that anything you've presented in this thread is even remotely approaching some measure of fact, when it is actually intentional head-in-the-sand obstinence. See, there's evidence that can be presented by those who claim observance of evolution, even if you want to suddenly say that their claims are fasle evidence simply because it doesn't concure with your particular perspective on the situation. Ignoring facts and reality is no substitution for presenting a counter argument. You're asking people to prove a falsehood, which is impossible. On the other hand, you're claiming that a falsity is fact, which is likely not possible since the justification for it has been a long-held dillusion for more than 2000 years. Not to mention that it's a reoccuring theme in dozens of mythologies that have existed for thousands of years before it's current incarnation which assume and subscribe itself to your personal philosophy. Claiming over and over again that your perspective and the book from which you have gained it are correct doesn't actually make it so. You seem to display an intentional misunderstanding of the process by ignoring that reality. If you want to argue the validity of the bible, then you have to do so on the basis of the structure of the argument, not on the validity of your own rules. In fact, operating on your own rules without concern for the rules that govern everyone else's behavior is a sign of a sociopath.

What falsity do I claim is a fact, the Bible?

I do not believe that all life evolved from a common ancestor. It is not possible.

You characterize my disbelief as intentional unwillingness to understand. I do understand the theory of evolution, I just don't believe it. Evolution is not plausible, viable, sensible, or factual. But it is traditional and popular.

Yes, the sky is a firmament.

Slaves in that period were equivalent to employees. Yes, it is okay to have people who work for you and even live with you.

No, don't kill your disobedient children. Things were different under the Old Covenant. Jesus had not paid the penalty for sin yet.

In part, but mostly the way you interpret the bible.

But all humans came from Adam and Eve??? How is it traditional?

So they didn't have slaves in that time? 😱 WOW I didn't know that, many all the history I learned is all F'ed up.

Thats bull if I ever heard it.

Is that why you continuously misstate and misrepresent the Theory and other critical biological concepts in your posts?

He understands his interpretation of the theory of evolution, but doesn't understand that it's not something to be interpreted. 🤣

The holy spirit has lead him to interpret evolution the right way. 😂

He hasn't even interpreted it. He's made up his own theory, falsified it, then claimed the actual Theory is wrong. It like the ultimate straw man argument.

I don't think he has the ability to make it up. He read it on a Fundamentalist Christian web site. 😉

Whether he reads these articles before posting them as proof is questionable as well 🙄

somehow i dont equate full willingless of employment with slavery..

lets go to africa and ask the ppl who are forced into diamond mining under threat of death to support militias if its ok...

i dont think native americans or blacks or even meso americans would have agreed that slavery is the same as employment especially when the guy next to him is selling birds, fruits and jewelery and gets to go home whenever he wants... without fear of physical injury or death..

No. You don't know when the Bible is being symbolic or literal. Do your own research to find out what the sky is composed of.

Slavery among the Israelites was more like an employer-employee relationship.
