"Pitt Happens"
I just had to watch some more of this video again just for laughs, I like the argument about "shifting the burden of proof". So where does he prove that God exists or that the Earth is 6000 years old?
Let us look at his Moon theory, the moon moves about 3.8cm away from Earth about per year so in 6000 years ago that would mean the Moon was 22,800cm closer to Earth. 1 mile is 160934.4cm so that would mean that 6,000 years ago the Moon was only about 1/7 of a mile closer to the Earth than it is now not the 1/3 closer to cause the 9* greater gravitational pull as he was talking about. The Earth moves more than 30,000 miles than that in it normal rotation, the Moon would need to move at least 73,821 miles closer to get that pull he was talking about.
Now lets look at his population chart.
Here is says that it is possible that 8 people in the span of 4,000 years could make 6,000,000,000 people but doesn’t talk about that the first part of his chart shows that 2 people supposed to have made over 1,000,000,000 in just 2,000 years. What about the supposed people that lived thousands or years???
Now let us look at his “non overpopulation” problem, which yes you could cram 6 billion people in a small spot but how is this supposed to say that we are not over populated? His answer is simply move, well you have some issues with that. You can move out into the fields of Ohio but what are you going to do for a job, how to support your family, do about you trash, power your house and so on and so fort. Think about the resources that it would take to power all those houses built out in nowhere, what about the animal population if everyone started spreading out? Lets assume that everyone spread out, they would all need homes to live in. An average single family home has about 100x130 feet not counting roads or anything else you could fit 52 families per square mile, there is 57,268,900 square miles of land on the Earth so that means you could have 2,977,982,800 single family homes which less than half the Earth’s population. Even if you said that half the population of the Earth was kids and multi family homes that is still less than half. This also doesn’t take into account that you need places to work, roads to drive on, places to by food and even places to grow the food and so much more. This would be every inch of every square mile of ground on Earth taken up by homes so how is this not overpopulation?
